Saying it’s not doesn’t change the fact that it still is one but okay.

NFC West was brutal. Stafford’s trophy

and Cam Newton and Matt Ryan were...?
It’s a season award, not career.
2015 Season
Newton threw 35 TD passes vs 10 INTs, rushed for 600 yards and 10 TDs, led an NFL leading 4 game winning drives, and his team was 15-1.
Brees led the NFL in passing yards, 32 TD passes vs 11 INTs, rushed for 14 yards and 1 TD, and his team was 7-9.
2016 Season
Matt Ryan threw 38 TDs vs 7 INTs, and his team was 11-5.
Brees led the league in yards, as well as attempts, threw for 37 TDs vs 15 INTs, and his team was 7-9 again.
Brees’s strongest argument for NFL MVP was probably 2011 when Rodgers got it. 2015 was definitely Newton’s season for it. But he sure as shite was never the same after he decided not to try to recover that fumble in the Super Bowl.

The data doesn't back your claim up unless you want to say he had one of the Top 200 greatest seasons of all-time. In that case I will agree with you.

Definitely a top 40 all-time QB season. Possibly top 30.
Btw: The NFL expanded to 17 games in 2021. Only one guy has had a comparable season passing the ball to Stafford this season: Aaron Rodgers in 2021. Guess what he won that year?

He's not gonna win it but you could make the case for JSN.
Heck of a year. I like this guy a lot.
To put this is perspective Randy Moss couldn’t seal the deal with 1,500 yards and 23 tds.
WRs will never get mvp love.
Although Calvin Johnson did have one year that if he didn’t win he should’ve.
