I will believe Georgia finally gets it done after they get it done and not a moment before that. Kirby is great at beating up on mediocre teams. Georgia still hasn’t played anyone. Arkansas is improved but light years from being a serious contender on the SEC West. And Clemson is 3-2 and could be 2-3.
At some point, Georgia will break through but again they’ll have to do it for me to believe it.

This is such a weird narrative to me. Who is considered “someone”? Only top 5 teams?
I get your point about not believing Georgia can win it until you actually see it, but I think we’re pretty clearly a top 2 team at this point in the season.

You will have:
1. SEC Champ
2. B1G Champ
3. Best SEC Team that didn’t lose in the SEC Championship game
4. Toss Up.
Makes no sense. 3 loss Florida? Kentucky?

Yea I think that's fair. They have honestly looked #1 and better than Bama IMO.
I just think there have been so many teams and players who have won national titles and heismans in September. Titles are won in November and December in conference season.
I remember Bama was unbeatable 3 weeks ago, and then UF played them to within one possession. UF just lost to Kentucky. There is a lot of season to go still

They apparently almost put Georgia in in 2018 with two losses and this Georgia team is a better football team than that one.
Georgia actually manages an undefeated regular season and they’re probably going to the playoffs unless Alabama beats them by 40.
Vice versa here as well.
Reason I put “actually” is as good as Georgia looks, it’ll be the first year in over 40 years they go undefeated in the regular season if it actually happens. It really “should” happen with what we’ve seen so far. They’ll be favored in the rest of their regular season games, most, if not all, by double digits. But it’s fair to be in the we’ll see camp here.

Obviously but how do u keep a 1 loss georgia with their only loss being alabama out of the playoffs?
By keeping 1 loss Alabama out if they lose to Georgia… you never put in a team that loses the last game of the season

I think so as well, but I’m fine with people putting Bama 1 based on their history and talent.

Completely agree with that. It’s why I said at this point in the season. We are dominant defensively but not f we struggle offensively like we did against Clemson, there are clearly teams that can beat us (excluding Bama who can beat us even if we play well offensively)

I need to wait til end of October, but OSU's defense has seemingly awakened a bit. changed the defensive playcaller after week 2 and they are playing a TON of freshmen and rFr. I need to see them do it against PSU on 10/30 before I believe it's real, but I like the direction

It will be
1) Bama
2) Oklahoma/Oregon (one of them will lose a game)
3) Cinci
4) Georgia
georgia would be 3. they are not putting a uga/bama rematch a couple of weeks later. can easily justify 1 loss georgia over UC as well.

I'm still hesitant that a team who losses the CCG is getting into a 4 team playoff, right or wrong.
Playing the committee below:
If UGA can't beat Bama on a neutral field in December (or vice versa) do they deserve to play them again on a neutral field in January? Is the loser of that game a top 4 team? Probably, but we already know they had their shot to beat the other team.
I know LSU fans will complain about 2011, but that was a different system and more time between the games
