Some that had top 2 at least years that haven't been mentioned are Garnett, Iverson, and Nowitzki.

Fraud mvp awards. He may have been best pg for 2 years, but i'm not even sure about that. Not the best player though.

Nash probably deserved the MVP in 2007 over Dirk and the others he won as well for Dirk submitted a statistically unremarkable season compared to others in his career and Nash's best year for win shares. but for the enforcement of an egregiously dumb NBA rule that suspended two of Phoenix's top players an entire game in that Spurs series, Phoenix probably wins the 2007 championship and that changes legacies for Phoenix and NBA history.

Says the guy who didn’t think this through before posting bc he has Gina as the best player last year.

Giannis averaged 26, 12 and 5 on a 26.6 PER in last year's playoffs.

For comparison, a 26.6 PER is over a point higher than your boy Harden's best playoff year ever, so I wouldn't judge too harshly.

Giannis was in the east. Competition is crap. Lebron has the same benefit when looking at playoff numbers. Giannis had a sub 20 PER in the series he Lost out. Harden outplayed both KD AND Steph in the series they lost.

Yeah, you always say that.

You always ignore that LeBron dominates Harden in LeBron's Finals series vs the West too. LeBron is better vs the East, better vs the West and just on a different level from Harden overall.

Wrong. Harden has been on a different level from lebron for many years. Including this year. much much better. Harden is just a smigeon behind a prime lebron. Today’s Lebron is a far far cry from prime lebron

Correct. Harden's on the West semifinal level and LeBron is on the NBA Finals level.

In 17-18 harden lead the league in per, win share, win share 48, scoring, bpm etc etc. You name it.

It makes his failures all the more egregious and hilarious.

Lost to a super team as the lone all star on his team. No shame in that at all.

He and LeBron tied for best player imo, with all the stuff Harden exceeded LeBron in, LeBron exceeded him in assists, rebounds, blocks, and FG% by a WIDE margin, plus he played all 82 games, gotta count for something. The margins that separated the two weren't too gigantic though we witnessed a progression in Harden's game relatively speaking.

Fg% means almost nothing these days. When we have ts% and even efg%.

When you completely lose the capacity to feel shame, there's no shame.

those guys were just too good. best roster in nba history. We tip our cap to them. Not even Jordan would have beat them with hardens supporting cast. Lebron, lol, he went 1-8 v them.

which both were relatively equal at that season, however when it came to shooting the ball in-game, Bron was better by a WIDE margin

WBB, we’ve been over this. Harden has never faced the super team warriors in the playoffs. Simply too many injuries for them to considered the team you always attempt to refer to them as. In that particular year, curry was less than 2 months removed from actual knee surgery, igoudala missed the majority of the series, Thompson left a game with a knee injury, etc.
