sure, the late interception ended up costing them the game.
but for the life of me, I've never seen one man end up being the scapegoat as much as Romo. Conveniently, all the rest of the team's short comings are usually overlooked.
Dallas doesn't really try to run the ball.
Dallas doesn't have a steady O-line to block for Romo if all they are going to do is throw it most of the time.
just look at that last play on the turnover. Denver was rushing just three linemen, there shouldn't have been any pressure on him there. It didn't look like he was able to follow through with his throw b/c of it.
I wouldn't say he had the worst weekend though. The camera kept showing his hot wife in the stands... he gets to go home to that and has that nice bank roll thanks to that new deal.
i'm sure he didn't go home and sit in the corner with the lights out.
he'll live.

He passed for over 500 yards and threw 5-6 touchdowns last night. Obviously the line did its job and the run game wasn't needed.

Because when it matters at the end of the game the QB either wins it or loses it. And like it or not, Romo FINDS some way to lose those important ones. SC had some stat that the last 8 times he has thrown a pick in the 4th quarter the Cowboys have lost? But yeah, keep blaming everyone else on the team.

That's why he's in the running for the worst weekend. Warranted or not, his reputation around the nation is that he chokes when it matters. So here he is, having the game of his life, and what happens in the last 2 minutes, the game deciding interception.
I'm not even a Tony Romo hater, I just can understand how much "chatter" that one interception would cause. I wasn't on the internet at the time, but I immediately came to td.com to read what people were saying.

nope.
Romo was sacked 4 times and had pressure in his face on the interception late in the game.
Peyton Manning on the other hand wasn't sacked at all.

That doesn't excuse him for throwing the ball into triple coverage. And when you drop back to pass that many times against a defense as good as the Bronco's you are going to get sacked a couple of times.

Dallas doesn't exactly have some slouches over there on its defense.
Why couldn't they pressure Manning?
Denver also found more balance on offense in that game with the ability to run the ball.
I know Romo choked late but I refuse to believe it was all on him.
