meh.....

i'm still not sure about him. whenever he learns to run without having to be beaten within an inch of his life i think he's dangerous. just don't know if he's there yet.

go back and watch his last 3 races. notice when the jockey starts working on him and how long it takes him to finally kick in.

and yay for someone ready to talk about this already

i'm liking moh a little better here than the derby, i must admit.

i'm too tired to do an in depth r2r study, so hopefully he will pop in here.

you had my only two absolute throw aways in the race.

twice the appeal, and derby kitten. i HATE anything with that damn kitten attached, including the sire.

i admit to not having ak, but i'm glad to see it for his sire. he'd already had winners on dirt and didn't deserve his turf only sire status.

i was super sad about arch. he made me money all winter/spring

calvin borel was riding twice the appeal...I had to take him.

motherfricker lost every race during the oaks and derby, so I was pretty stupid for thinking he would turn it on in the big one.

not saying he can't...but will is a very strong word to use.

once he learns when to go, sure. he's a versatile runner who needs to maybe do a little growing up. he'll be very dangerous this year.

i know a good amount about horses and horse racing, so i know better than to make comments about who WILL win

i don't know shite about horse racing, but the dogmatic predictions is part of the fun.

plus I'm counting on him to avenge my $70

he had a bad spill late in the fall in the delta jackpot, and it took him a while to get back to how he'd been riding.

he was not as impressive at oaklawn as he usually is, and that's why people weren't knocking down his door with a derby mount. i think twice the appeal may turn into a nice optional claiming horse.

and can you tell me why you liked kitten? of the turf horses he was the only one who screamed turf all the way. "leroy" (ak's dad) had a graded stakes winner tearing it up at santa anita this past year, and dynaformer (brilliant speed) has thrown dirt winners too (barbaro, anyone?)

we showed up at lane's end in lexington and they gave us a tour. The guy running the stables confirmed my nehro pick and said he liked kitten as a long shot. Plus he closed at like 34-1 odds...I was looking for a Mine that Bird payday
