Moh blew out a quarter in 25 this morning. I like that they are getting him over the track

Any more thoughts from Belmont?

- MoH had a good work yesterday, 1/4 in :25 2/5. i don't like that he's only won one race out of 8 starts but you can't deny his athleticism. i think he will like the smaller field and the further distance at Belmont. kinda leary about a Kingmambo horse in this race

- Prime Cut.. i've pretty much thrown this horse out. who has he beaten? nobody. he lost to DERBY KITTEN in the Coolmore! his last three races he finished 1st at 1 70yd, 2nd at 1/16m and 3rd at 1 1/8th. see a trend here? i know he finished strong in the Peter Pan at Belmont (and that's been my primary red flag) but I have to cut somebody

- thing I like most about Nehro is his consistency obviously, and he always seems to run whatever race is necessary to be right there at the end. ...in 2nd. he looked pretty gassed after the Derby, but not running in Baltimore was smart. Can he really stick around the whole way in this brutal race?

- Santiva will be my value in most exotics. like the Giant's Causeway/Northern Dancer and Smarten blood.

- Brilliant Speed (much like AK was before the Derby) seems to be the horse the experts and people with real horse racing knowledge like. i'm on board with them. in his last 7 outings he's had a faster beyer each time

- MMM is looking rather thin apparently but that could be because he's so tall. that height (long strides) will help him at Belmont. i expect a Rock Hard Ten type performance though.

more to come later, but right now i like AK, BS, Nehro and MoH.

and everyone should take an in-depth look at Monzon

I've liked brilliant speed a lot and love dynaformer babies. They can jump! I'd kill to have a dynaformer off the track.

You sent me his mom and sister's win pics

I figured if I could do a show late summer in Lafayette your ex may want to come see him. She may yell at me for how spoiled he is, though.

What time you betting? L try to have my picks in by then :)

It's animal king, shack, and nehro so I don't know how much inside scoop he has. 3 favs.

Rag, I have 2 horses. Do you think I have that kind of $ lying around?

Not sure if anyone cares, but Arthur hancock will be on the CBS news tonight speaking out against drugs in horses. He owns stone farm, has had 2 derby winners, and is married to one of my mom's best friends from college

I know barbaro's owners and someone else have come out against this.

I can't watch because I'm driving :(

i don't have cable where i'm at so i won't be able to catch it either.

so apparently this past January they shut down all the OTB's in New York City. so i've yet to find a place to pick up at DRF. i could get it online but we don't have a printer so I'd have to go to Fedex and print it out for like a dollar a page.

guess I'll get to the track super early tomorrow. i hate reading them online.

have a safe drive asp!

Hopefully the boy picks one up for me.

Last time I didn't read one, just started picking horses at least It will give me something to do after tanit goes to the track in the morning. I'm excited to see her jog

awesome

here's shack last Saturday btw. looks fit.

Shackleford breezed 5 furlongs in 1:00.30 on Saturday morning, out 3/4 in 1:14.21 under exercise rider Tammy Fox. Trainer Dale Romans said, “I am excited he’s doing so well and coming into the race the right way. I think he’s going to be very competitive. I wanted to see him work his normal work, and he did today. I thought he went around there really well and it looked like he did everything the way he was supposed to.”

don't care what anybody says, I'm using him. He's got guts and a desire to fight til the end.

Poor guy is 16-1

I absolutely hate to play chalk, but I just don't see anyone on-top but AK. He should gobble up the extra distance.

I'm gonna key him with several underneath and hope for some price in the tri and/or super.

Problem with that is that my price horses aren't much of a price...

Santiva 6-1
moh 5-1
brilliant speed 9-1

I just don't see ruler on ice, monzon, or isn't je perfect doing anything
