Things change. At the time I wrote it they'd just had their asses handed to them by Michigan and hadn't whooped yalls arse yet.

Clemson is hard to figure out IMO. Sort of feels like they are here cause I don't feel real good about some of the other choices.
Alabama is in no matter what but I still say they've just teed off on a weaker conference than usual this year. I mean.. look at the coaches Saban has to go against each week. Coaching in the SEC has kind of fallen off (besides Saban) I think but maybe i'm being ridiculous.. that's right up my alley though.
Ohio St (I guess) I mean Michigan had them on the ropes but couldn't finish for whatever reason. Didn't see the whole game.
Michigan (I guess). The loss at Iowa isn't all that bad IMO but the timing of it was. Better to lose at the beginning of the year than at the end which makes this pick a cluster frick for me. Throw logic out of the window.. up my alley too

I agree on Alabama. I feel like they're best is unbeatable, but they aren't always at their best with Kiffin calling his inevitable stupid shy and Hurts making Hurts mistakes. Still, they're dangerous as hell, and the defense is insane.
I feel like Clemson is riding their own coattails from last season. I guess they can be awesome at any given time, but yikes, they suck arse sometimes too.
Michigan can play with anyone. The defense is nasty and they're usually sound enough to not screw themselves. I trust them not to embarrass themselves more than any other team in the country(outside of Alabama).

I'll give you that bc I almost put Michigan ahead of them anyways. But I probably wouldn't put USC in my top 8 honestly
