Meh, they guy opposite him had 4. Regardless, not much was heard from anyone on the Clemson team after the 1st quarter.

Yes, LSU can win but it would be a low scoring affair. No one here wants to talk about it but there is a chance that Oregon gets the offensive machine chugging. You better be able to throw if that happens.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was in context of having a passing game. I said, if Oregon gets the offenive maching going, you'd need to pass. We didn't.

However, LMJ is a doak walker award winner, Barner is just a step behind in talent, Huff had as much or more production than Ware and Ford, and Seastrunk and De'Anthony are off the charts prodigious talents. Carson is our 227 6'0" power back is getting some buzz just like Magee.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not exactly sure why this statement is included. LMJ just went in the top of the 2nd, Barner could've left year, DAT was a phenom, and Carson was productive as a true frosh behind those guys.

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For as stacked as you guys think you are, there is a reason we're #3 in the polls.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oregon ended the season in top 5.

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
quote:
RB: Barner has more experience than Ware and Ford combined. He has nearly 1,200 yards rushing receiving with around 900 of those on the ground. Ford and Ware combined barely match Huff's total on the ground last season, our true frosh RB/WR. Throw in Lache Seastrunk at third string and De'Anthony Thomas and I don't even thing you can talk about LSU being better. I am not even including Tra Carson.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
See above

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DL: I am not going to even go there. LSU fans will have to believe it when they see it. Sorry, but you're pinning your hopes here on a DE that is recovering from an ACL and a true frosh. Adams is the stalwart and nothing leads me to believe that he is stronger than his counterpart Turner. Our interior with Heimuli, Hart and Keliikipi should be considered more experienced, imho. Our other end Jordan is fabulous.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was absolutely surprised at Benny Logan and said so after the game. LSU definitely reloaded. Brockers ended up a better player than most here would have thought. However, Oregon was experienced in the interior. Problem was Heimuli played on a high ankle sprain and Remington started.

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You won't believe me that this is closer than you'd like to believe.

This was in response to people saying we'd get run off the field.

DB: We're absolutely stacked there as well but whatever.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were. This was probably before the Cliff suspension.

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
quote:
Oregon has the best RB talent in the country sans no one.

Still think so.

quote:
However, I in no way think that you will hold us to 2.2 yards per attempt.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.4

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
quote:
I know what you have. Your interior is not as good as Auburn's last year. Clayton, Blanc and Fairly were all 300+ and seniors at DT. They also had seniors Goggans and Carter at end along with the high regarded new recruits like Eguae at DE that were 260 pounds +. They were better against the run.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Auburn played the run better than you did, especially since they went against a veteran line.

You think your interior run defense in the first game of the season will be better than last year's replacing Nevis, Pep, and Sheppard? I, mean, seriously you think that? I guess it's possible but is it realistic?

ok, let's address this.

LSU scores 40 points. Game is not low scoring. Oregon never gets offensive machine chugging. 3 fails.

The best RB in the game proved to be Michael Ford, followed by Spencer Ware. LMJ was bad. Balmer was worse. Smith shite his pants. Another huge fail. and we are not even to the good stuff.

Brockers 1st RD pick.

Mingo and Montgomery 1st RD picks next year.

nuff said. Tard.

quote:

DB: We're absolutely stacked there as well but whatever.

Claiborne- 1st rd pick, thorpe award winniner

TM7- Heisman finalist. All american.

Brandon Taylor 3rd round pick

Ron Brooks 4th RD pick

clueless again.

28 carries. 3.4 YPC. lulz

You took everything out of context. LMJ just went in the top of the 2nd round. It was not his fault that he got our oline against your dline. I never said that WARE and FORD wouldn't run for more yards in that game.

Btw, Barner almost left early because of his draft report.

Our DBs were stacked last year. Yeah, they weren't LSU but they were stacked nonetheless.

I predicted that LSU would win.

The game ended up high scoring. I didn't think Oregon would get 27 either.

There were a lot points for the limited production.

To be fair, they wouldnt have had we not been in prevent on the last drive while Chip scored one in trash time to make the score look better

FYI, I Call Bison the Brown Nose Bison as that is what he likes to do. And Bags is a D-bag.

As for the Rantards on this site, they only like a guy if he is sucking them off. If not, well, they throw a tissy.

Lester, You know, that is about the 7th time that you have quoted our quotes. What on earth do they have to do with this thread? Now, in one of my quotes you quoted me as saying, "This game spells doom, doom, doom for LSU all the way around!" However you do not have a clue the context. The context was that this LSU fan for many months every time he saw me kept on saying, "UO is doomed, doomed, doomed I tell ya, just playing around. " And one day I saw him and just repeated his pet line back to him. THAT was the context.

Yes, I thought UO would probably win. However I also said I considered the game a coin flip as to how to guess. But so you won, who gives a shite. Watch, typical way this goes down. You, are questioning US about the game. We respond. Then other Randards come in this thread and just ASSUME we are butthurt over the game or something. And they see us commenting about it(only responding to you). It happens every single freaking time. I've been over it a week after we played.

Now Lester, tell me. Did you think you would beat Bama in the title game? What were your predictions? How did you think Bama would do against you in that game? Did you predict getting shutout? Did you predict that your team would be the only team in American CFB BCS history to not be able to score a point in a BCS game before?

Dude, gets old...how about talk about the thread. That's why I created this thread...

My point was that our defense was fine. LSU got 3.65 ypc and our interior sustained nagging injuries during fall camp that played out the entire season (Heimuli high ankle and Keliikipi back strain). Alonso, the Rose Bowl MVP, was not allowed to play either.

Oregon lost the game on special teams.

Because you have the inability to be fair when breaking things down?

The fact that you guys thought yall had a better DL and DB says enough. The way you dismissed LSU's talent should live on as long as you are around saying dumb shite.

The fact yall said you have 5 RBS better than LSU is just disrespectful.

Why would I not continuously bring this up? It's crow eating at its best. Yet you still won't even admit how wrong you were. All of a sudden its "misinterpreted" and taken out of context

I didn't say any of those things. You are acting like a butt hurt LSU fan. I said our dbs were stacked, not better. LSU had the best secondary in the country. However, we were in the top 10.

I never said the DL was better...just more experienced, which does not equate to talent.

Read the fricking qoutes. You are making more out of them than was intended.

You a horrible, horrible poster. Just because 7thWard doesn't put DAT, his list is worthless? there is no way that you can honestly believe your denials about your bias. All you do is try and get people on here to like Oregon. It's silly.

Two occurred on special teams that directly resulted in 14 points. One was an INT that resulted in nothing. The other was a fumble on offense that was 7.

The unit most detrimental was special teams. Barner should have never field that punt and ran backwards. DAT used terrible technique on his return.

Lester, I predicted that LSU would win. I said the difference would be on special teams.

You would think I were an idiot unless I totally bowed down to LSU.

I hope Mett turns out as good as y'all think.

That's not true. I try to go out of my way to be fair and unbiased. I just do not arse kiss like Bison.

Keep in mind, I was on this site back in March of last year. And I spoke with you guys all the time, all through summer and all way till game. Way back then, we did not know Cliffy was going to have to sit out game. So he counted as a DB, for us. And I said you had one of the best groups in the Nation. I just had you #3. And part of me comparing vs yours was using All American status and or all Conference status/rankings. We just had higher ranked guys. You had high, but not as high as us. As least I was not pulling this out of my arse.

As far as your RB's. True, I would of taken not one back over our 5 then. And that was before a couple of our RB's left our team I believe. Either way, with the context of a year ago, I easily stand by all the comments I said in their time. I did give us the slight edge to win, on that, I was wrong.

Now, I am still waiting to hear your BCS game predictions and what you thought of Bama before they cleaned your clock. Surely you, all wise one, predicted you would get shut out right? Why are you hiding from giving us your pre-game predictions to your BCS Title game with bama?
