understand what he is saying, Kelly is the ultimate decision maker regarding anything related to the football team operations. He is ultimately responsible for the videotaping of his practices. I don't really agree he should be fired. It is just a horrible situation that should not have happened.

Someone should be held responsible for what happened. Coaches are fired for making moronic football decisions on the field, this decision or lack there of by whomever, cost the life of a student.
Honestly I don't know the situation, but why was the kid stupid enough to go up there?

Why didn't the kid say "frick it, this isn't worth it"? That's what I would've done.

This. If the conditions were life threatening and he was still sitting in the tower tweeting about it. Well all I can say is stupid people win stupid prizes.

If im the guy and i see the wind is blowing to hard, i climb down and tell someone. Now if he did that and they told him to get back up there or stay up there. Then i can see firing someone. Which i highly doubt that this happen. This reporter dropped the ball here.

Which he often does. I'm just surprised he didn't find a racist angle for his article.

I'm sorry but if the coach of Notre Dame tells a kid to get up to the top of the tower and tape something, I find it hard to believe that the 21 year old kid would have the balls to say no.
Even if the coach never specifically told him to get up there, there is no way the kid was going to complain. I'm can guarentee the kid had to feel unsafe before the tower fell, in that case he obviously didnt complain at all.
Bottomline: It's the coaches fault.

Well, after reading today that a McDonald's employee sued and won $17 Grand for gaining weight while he worked there, this kids parents need to call that attorney so they can rename TD Jesus after their son.

The driver of a bank robbers doesn't have the balls to go inside, should we be more lenient on him if a security guard is blown away? If you let other people determine your personal safety, you are always partly at fault. Granted, his death is chalked up to larger numbers at play, but still.

I can't imagine what Whitlock's article would have said if the kid had some darker skin. I don't think the guy knows much about sports, just looks for racial issues and blows them up.
