If you look at ND these are the schools they have played the most.

I would say Texas Tech and Baylor, the simple solution is they be each other’s biggest rival but I think they both hate Texas and A&M more.

TCU could also be Baylor or SMU.

The whole state is kind of weird, Texas’ biggest rival is out of state (OU) and then it seems like every school hates someone else more than they are hated by a school

As an outsider, I miss ND/Sparty playing every year. That series seemed to produce a lot of wild and wacky games.

TAMU's rival is Texas. Texas' rival is OU. It's pretty clear there.

i saw several Saw them off shirts in Baton Rouge last saturday.

Texas might say they hate OU more but Aggies don't breath without thinking about UT.

Texas fans do the smug "i don't care about A&M, beneath us......but here is the 10000 reason i hate aggies"

If you're talking about schools where their biggest rival doesn't also consider them their biggest rival

Arkansas (don't really have a primary rival)
Tennessee (Alabama's primary rival is Auburn)
Georgia (Auburn/FL have instate rivals that are bigger deals)
Texas A&M (Texas' primary rival is Oklahoma)
Vandy (Tennessee's primary rival is Alabama)
Missouri (they don't even play their rival anymore)

That's just the SEC

Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Texas A&M

Miami....since Florida and Florida State would claim each other

Are Mizzou and Kansas still claiming each other as primary rivals since the Border War has been on hiatus since Mizzou joined the SEC? If Kansas-Mizzou still claim each other, then who is K-State's rival?

Duke. Pretty sure UNC and NC State consider each other as primary rivals for football. UNC would claim Duke though for basketball.

Air Force. Army-Navy game gets all the hype. Maybe Space Force will have their own service academy someday to be AF's rivalry

Only one I'd disagree with you on is Georgia. They have their own in-state rival with Tech thats still a pretty big deal

I know they do, but they don't consider Tech their biggest rival. That's either Auburn or Florida depending on who you talk to

Syracuse doesn't really have a primary rival. It used to be Georgetown and then UConn back in the Big East basketball days but those days are gone. In football, we have rivalries with Boston College, Pitt, and West Virginia but none of those seem that virulent to me. The Orange have no in-state rivals, which definitely helps when you need a team to hate.

Tennessee, unless Vandy counts?

Their other prospective rivals have:
Alabama-Auburn
Florida- FSU
Georgia-Georgia Tech
Kentucky- Louisville
South Carolina-Clemson

And some of those are a stretch to consider as Tenn's rival (not sure how much SC-Tennessee consider themselves rivals, if at all).

Both schools have to claim each other as their main rival. Vandy would claim Tennessee but Tennessee claims Bama

I dont think that's the question at hand. I think its more, schools that dont have a single school that they would consider a rival. From their point of view

Think the only SEC schools that fit that bill are A&M, Arky, and LSU

I’m glad this rivalry game is coming back. Texas is clearly A&M’s biggest rival and ALWAYS has been.

But it’s like OU/OSU, it’s not evenly matched enough to overtake the OU/Texas rivalry

NC State? Kinda the third wheel for both UNC and Duke.

Is this the list between the SEC and B1G schools who dont have another that they view as a historical rival?

Northwestern

Not sure how heated this is, but they have played 117 times since 1892. The all-time record is about as close as it can be with Illinois leading 57-55-5.
