Which NFL players have followed through on holding out for the year?

Well it makes no sense to hold out an entire season because you don’t accrue a season towards free agency.

If you’re talking about holding out for the first 6 games so they can still accrue a season then a couple guys have done that

Doing a little bit of research: John Riggins of the Redskins did in 1980 and Kelly Stouffer of the Cardinals in 1987

Yep, Bo is the one who came to mind.

I don’t give him or John Elway shite for holdouts because both legitimately had options in other sports and really could sit out the year if they needed to.

And Bo followed through by heading to baseball then doing football as a side gig until his career ending hip injury.


Eli Manning? Not so much.
