the only player, in any sport, IMO, that rises to that level of being the greatest and most revered is Jordan... there are other players who refused to even think of wearing that number b/c they don't want the comparisons, expectations, etc that the number comes with...

3 Harmon Killebrew Twins May 4, 1975
3 Dale Murphy Braves June 13, 1994
3 Babe Ruth Yankees June 13, 1948
3 Bill Terry Giants April 5, 1983
3 Alan Trammell Tigers August 26, 2018

And you're there to suck his balls after every post. Most likely cause you're 1 in the same.

Judge absolutely will have his number retired by the Yankees. They retired Bernie Williams' number and he was wholly unremarkable.

3. Messi’s #10 across soccer

Absolutely not.

Numbers in soccer are a legacy and meant to be passed down. Think of it like the number 7 and 18 for the LSU fans out there. Specific numbers have special meanings for specific teams, but also across the entire sport.

I'm not Jerry, and I live in Kentucky, but nice try, Jerry Stalker.
