I'm not as familiar with the situation as others here probably are since I don't watch GT much, but coming in there and trying to implement a more modern offense with personnel recruited for the triple option is going to be a clusterfrick and prospective coaching candidates likely understand this

You get on me for bringing up the 90s where things are different now, then bring up harrick jr which put our basketball program back decades? We still haven't recovered from that 10 years later.

And btw...that has nothing to do with the players. It has to do with our dumbass president adams. Blame him.

He can't recruit to his scheme. He really need to adjust his offense.

Go more towards a modern day option offense. Not the old school shite he is running

Our sidewalkers are horrific, I won't deny that. They embarrass me too. But to say they are THE WORST IN THE COUNTRY? Please.

I guarantee you the bama, ND, Texas, USC, etc sidwalkers are far worse.

Of course they're the worst in the country. They affect me. Texas, USC and ND's don't.

Word. My BIL is a GT grad. All of the hardcore fans they go to the games with are big time PJ apologists.

I mean that really is what it all boils down to.

I'm sure PJ has forgotten more about football than I've ever known. But nobody wants to go to a school that doesn't have a defense, the WRs block every game and may get 2 targets, the TE is non existent, the OL cut block every play, and the QB throws 10 times a game. I mean it's just basic logic...nobody except highly specific people want to play at a school like that.

Been hear longer than you I bet little girl.

I wouldn't want to go to Tech myself, but the campus is just fine.

But you probably haven't ventured off West Paces Ferry much so it's ok.

I agree. Negative recruiting against that offense is probably extremely easy to do as well.

He has probably over achieved considering the recruits that he gets but his scheme and his attitude hurts him with recruiting. He needs to hire a offensive coordinator and let them run the offense. He can work with them but he needs to update it to get some guys in there who can help him

I just don't think he will have the time now. He gone

how so?

Seriously. I know what's around campus..there's restaurants and bars like any other college in America. But there's also a shite ton of hoods and ghettos, bums, homeless, major US interstates running right by it, and not much green space at all. It doesn't "feel" like a college campus at all. There are reports every other week of people mugged on or near campus.

If I was 18, I know for damn sure I wouldn't want to be on that campus.

When your main competition is UGA, Clemson, and FSU...top 25 won't cut it.

Unless you consider your main competition NC State and Duke.

Yeah, the campus feels very urban and diverse.

He is 31st right now

GT was 56th last year and 76th the year before

Is that where Georgia tech should be in recruiting? I think not
