There are stats that favor each QB. It's just what you consider the most important.
Rodgers has had a QB rating over 100.0 the last two years. Brees has done it twice in his career (although his rating of 109 in '09 was historic).

I guess My strongest point is that Bress was practically given up on after his shoulder injury and has comeback to do what he has done the last 5 years is just unreal. You may not agree but I would put Brees over Brady at this point.

Last year I thought Brees had the edge. This year it was Brady in a landslide. Ive got them all about even going into next year.
1. Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers
5. Rivers

He had a great year UNTIL the playoffs, Plus he lost to the Jets TWICE, AND at HOME in the playoffs. Give the Saints a healthy backfield all year and they REPEAT!!!!!!

Second Tier (Really good, but don't carry their team completely): Philip Rivers
Did you even watch this season? The number of injuries that the Chargers sustained and the fact that they were still competitive throws your logic out the window. It's ok to put him second tier but I don't think you can say he doesn't carry the team.

I just went and looked, and you are right. Cutler didn't have too big of an INT problem really until 2009.
However, in 2009, he had 4 games with 3+ interceptions. That is bad.
Let's compare him to Philip Rivers, who many consider the 5th best QB in the game today.
Since 2007, Cutler does have about 100 more pass attempts than Philip Rivers, but that isn't nearly enough to make up for the 26 more interceptions Cutler has thrown.
Also, Cutler has never had a QB rating even higher than 90. NEVER.
Rivers has been over 100 for three consecutive years now.
Rivers' career rating is at 97.2. That's higher than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Ben Roethlisberger.
Cutler's is only 84.3. Which, quite frankly, isn't good at all. That's lower than the likes of Matt Schaub, David Garrard, Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Carson Palmer, and Tony Romo. And none of those guys are considered to be top tier NFL quarterbacks.
He just throws too many interceptions.

I think until Rivers wins a superbowl, he won't be on par with Manning, Brady, Brees Rodgers. I do think he's better than Eli & Big Ben.

Top 5 along with Manning, Brady, Brees and Rodgers
This times a million.
The emphasis placed on titles is just silly.
Hell, if the Eagles don't make that miracle 4th quarter comeback with DeSean's punt return on the last play of the game, the Packers don't even make the playoffs.
Something Rodgers had zero control over had such a huge impact on allowing the Packers a chance in the playoffs. Little things like that, in effect, apparently have an impact on how good Rodgers is as a QB. That makes zero sense to me.
Rodgers were elite, most definitely in the same tier as Manning/Brady/Brees whether he won this SB or not.
And I got Rivers in there as well.

After looking some numbers up, Rivers is absolutely top 5. His QB rating is 2nd-highest among active quarterbacks. Only Aaron Rodgers is higher.
1) Manning
2) Brady
3) Rodgers
4) Brees
5) Rivers
6) Roethlisberger
But within 3 years, it will be 1) Rodgers 2) Rivers.

I can't fathom him not being in a top 5.
I can make a solid argument that he's been the best or most efficient QB over the past 3 seasons.
92 TDs, 33 INTs.
4000+ yards every season
65%+ completion% every season
8.4/8.8/8.7 yards per attempt, that is crazy. He's led the league in YPA 3 seasons in a row. And that is one of the absolute most important stats for a QB.

urrently I'd say:
Top Tier (The team wouldn't win half their games without them group):
Manning
Brady
Brees
Rogers
Second Tier (Really good, but don't carry their team completely):
Phillip Rivers
Matt Ryan
Joe Flaco
Michael Vick
Matt Schaub
Eli Manning
Sam Bradford (maybe a little early, but he had a great year)
Second Second Tier (Still really good, but not quite on the level as the second group):
Ben Roethlisberger
Mark Sanchez
Josh Freeman
Matt Cassel
Third Tier (better than scrubs):
Carson Palmer
Kyle Orton
Jay Culter
Matt Hasslebeck
Chad Henne
solid list

And his receivers haven't been THAT great. Sure, they've been good. He may be throwing to the greatest tight end to ever play, and Vincent Jackson is really good when he wants to be. But I'd say there are other QBs have had more help.
