4 big markets give a shite about Big 12 football. TCU, Baylor and OSU just overlap the same Markets. And nobody gives a shite about the teams north of OKC and west of Austin.

SEC treats all teams the same revenue wise. Vandy makes the same as Alabama. Yeah technically bama gets screwed a little, but now people aren’t looking to bolt, keeping the conference strong and lifting everyone’s floor.

So basically the Big 12 operates like a capitalist society with those working and earning the most money receiving a greater share. The SEC operates like a socialist society and pays Vandy the same as Alabama. Alabama uses their revenue to build better facilities while Vandy just takes the money others earned and is content to do nothing.

They should have grabbed Cincy and Louisville to get back to 12 and create more interest in the eastern part of the country.

Adding Louisville and Cincinnati was not going to stop OU/Texas from eventually leaving.

Bottom line is they have 2 brands out of 10 teams.

Not entirely true. If you are limiting this to football, then yes they have two brands.

How many brands does the B1G, ACC, or Pac 12 have? Ohio State, Clemson, then what? USC? Florida State? Penn State?

The problem was with LHN.

Jesus fricking Christ, some of you are obsessed with political ideology.

Hey genius, what are your feeling on the draft and salary caps in pro sports?

Because that shite isn't capitalist either.
