Most of us have been saying that all day.

The only talking head NOT saying he should step down / be fired immediately is Herbstreit. And his reasoning is weird as hell.

A lot of people are already saying it. When is College Valley going to say it?

Why? He KNOWINGLY let a child predator not only roam the streets, or the hallowed halls of Penn State University athletics, but Joe Paterno allowed this scumbag to stay the head of a charity for "at-risk" kids. Joe Paterno knew that these kids were at-risk of being sexually molested by Sandusky, yet he did nothing.

All Joe Paterno had to do was bring the information to the real authorities. I personally believe that Joe Pa helped cover everything up within the University. The guy has shown that he listens to nor answers to nobody at Penn State. If he didn't have total authority, he'd have been forced to resign back in 2003-2004.

Disgraceful!!!!!!!!!!

Man, stop shouting. Do we really need everyone shouting from the rooftops like a vengeful mob out for blood - as if that's going to help any of the victims at this point? His not coaching a stupid football game isn't going to remedy anything that's important.

I hope you never have jury duty for the sake of your fellow man; you seem like the type of juror who listens to the prosecution's opening statement and then falls asleep content with your verdict.

You're right, he had over 10 years to make a difference in State Valley from 1998-2011 to help put this child molester behind bars, but Joe Pa did nothing. Joe Paterno, with all of the allegations that are currently known, definitely knew what Sandusky was doing, yet Joe Pa did nothing.

Thanks for the 60 years, but you blew it. You sat on your hands and allowed several young boys to be sexually molested in the Penn State locker room. Joe Paterno does not deserve to ever coach another football game again. His legacy is tarnished, and will be forever ruined.

Bumped from November 9th.

There were so many threads to choose from, but I chose this one because I said this when the news first hit.

Any rational person could put 2+2 together and come up with 4. Only people with their head stuck in the sand could have not known that Joe Pa knew what was going on and covered it up.

I don't know why people had to hear it blatently spelled out for them today.
