LEEEEEEEEEDS!!!!!

It's because there are tons of people on this board and some of us like soccer. If you don't like it, ignore the threads. Sort of how I ignore the NBA threads usually. What's the big deal?

I was just asking when the MSB made the fricking turn into a soccer friendly board

when HH started posting about it a lot and BMac started followin soccer...about a year ago

then others weren't as afraid to discuss it

Because we want somewhere to discuss soccer topics and I believe the More Sports Board is the proper Board.

To be honest, your question was pretty stupid. Unless you really think that this board is "over run" by soccer fans now.

Lot of big international friendlies and CONCACAF qualifying yesterday. Also, the EPL is winding down it's title chase. Lot's of great stuff going on right now for soccer.

thanks for actually trying to answer the question, but I wasn't referring to the past couple of days, but the trend that has been taking place over what seems to be the past year or so. is it indicitive of the sport gaining more popularity in the US as a whole? is the MSB a good enough cross section of sports fans to make that assumption? and after the US bombs the World Cup, is it going to fade away for three more years?

i visit this board everyday & i haven't noticed it being overrun by soccer fans....and naturally as the world cup approaches, america will be more interested in the sport...other countries live, eat, drink & breath soccer...if it's popular here once every 4 years so be it
