The ESPN theme before the CFP came around is quietly my favorite. Love the CBS intro as it’s damn near a CFB Christmas carol at this point but that ESPN theme takes me back to being in high school and getting home from practice to watch MACtion on Tuesdays and Cincy or Tech or whoever on Thursdays and some late night West coast games on Friday and then heading out early morning for Athens on Saturday.
This new brutalist theme they use for the CFP era is bullshite, NFL lite crap that tries to add drama when it isn’t needed.

SEC on CBS and pre-playoff ESPN are godly. I think they need to keep the old CFB theme on ESPN and only use the new theme for the playoffs.

Always loved the SEC/CBS theme and the mid-late 2000's ESPN theme. Whenever I hear those I just relate it to big/memorable moments and games.
