lulz, hes about to have a major surgery. Who knows what the long term results will be

Because plantar plate repair surgery rarely requires operating only on the plantar plate, the HAT-TRICK surgery takes an innovative approach to three distinct surgeries during the same procedure.
Recovery takes about 8 weeks. The plantar plate is a very strong ligament and it simply takes time to heal. While recovering, you will need to be off the foot while healing. You will be placed in a removable boot or a cast, depending on the extent of the surgical repair

2. He will be fine. He wrecked my Bills with this bum toe before it was fixed .

The guy is the greatest QB we have ever seen so far. Greatest career is yet to be seen
Small.market team.
His big money kicks in soon which, can we all agree, makes it impossible to sustain as high of a level of talent.
Brady literally played with receivers that can't start elsewhere. And that intangible is what keeps him atop all lists.
If Mahomes can take nobodies and make em all Pro, ill revisit

Some of y’all latched into the 10 MVPs as a literal thing rather than as a hyperbolic example.
And again, great career =/= Greatest QB.
Manning
Montana
Marino
Unitas
Rodgers
Young
Are all decidedly better QBs than Brady. If you cannot understand why, then football is not for you.

To me, I think what Mahomes is done is being severely underrated
Probably, but it’s because you’re having a different discussion than everybody else. You are having a who was the greatest at their peak discussion. Now, you think that’s more how GOAT should be determined, and I agree with you. But that is not weighted as much as we may think it should be in the actual GOAT discussions using whatever standards have created the arbitrary “formula” I mentioned earlier. So to argue Brady GOAT, you have actually done yourself and Mahomes a disservice by steering the conversation away from what you actually want it to be on.

And I agree with the guy who said Mahomes’s game—while maybe at the highest level of all time—is not gonna translate to a 20-year career because of how much he uses his athleticism. And I hate that I’ve put myself in a position to come off as anti-Mahomes. I absolutely am not. After Drew Brees, he’s already my 2nd favorite QB of all time and ai absolutely love watching him play. He’s incredible.

Peyton manning was an elite QB for 15 plus years and won 1 ring
He then was the worst QB in all of football for a single season, and in that single season won a ring
How can anyone see that and still use the rings argument is beyond me.
Brady has PLAYED in 10 SBs!
fricking 10! On 2 different teams, the second going from 7-9 to Champs.
Forget rings, he brought 10 teams there. So what if he didn't need 500 yds per game to do it.
If Mahomes NEEDS to get over 350 per game to win, KC is in huge trouble once most of the money goes to him.
Hes great, but ease up on his career lasting 15+ yrs

That is fricking insane. I was going to compare Brady's first 3 seasons v Mahomes first 3 seasons. But I see that's not even necessary anymore.

I think he'll probably survive

Yes, that posters think an extraordinary talent can simply undergo surgery with no lasting effects
Posted on 2/10/21 at 1:41 pm to lsupride87
How many attempts per game?
NE was a bit diff offensive philosophy back them, lol

That Tom Brady guy had a chance to be a great one, but that major surgery in 2008 was too much to overcome

Yes it is...without the resume, you will NEVER be GOAT
Yeah, that was my point. We know Mahomes has crazy talent and a great supporting cast. But it's still extremely unlikely he will ever match Brady's total resume. Same with Rodgers and others before. And resume determines GOAT.
His best case scenario is probably a Jack v. Tiger situation where people one day say "oh sure he didn't go to 10 Super Bowls or throw for 90,000 yards...but if you saw some of things he did to opposing defenses in his prime..."

I feel like you are leaving a mountain of information out of this little tidbit, like a quarterback who threw 30+ ints, the NFL record for pick sixes, adding 4 former pro bowlers to the skill positions, adding a future Hall of Fame DL, and drafting a future PB OT and PB Safety in back to back picks all while getting their first round future PB LB back from injury.
But no yeah it was the EXACT same squad as the year before with no other personnel changes, just a QB swap.

Because Brady scrambles on his feet literally every other play, amirite?

the fact that Brady could afford to play at that level and win two super bowls should tell everybody something
