What were your favorite Air Jordans? (slight spinoff)

My favorite were Air Jordans 5. I had the white version with yellow sole. The black version was very pimp too, but I liked the white the best.
EDIT: It appears I was wrong. The black version was the Air Jordans 6...my second favorite.

Can't go wrong with any 11's.
These are my fav, I picked them up last two years ago and have two pairs.
The Oreo 5's are also a favorite.
Concord 11 lows are also always a hit.

never owned a pair. basketball shoes are just so unappealing. it's like they're stuck in the 80s.
i did have some penny's and the reebok pumps when i was a kid but it didnt take long to grow out of that phase.

The Olympic shoes weren't bad, but I still love the IX's the best.
I liked the Originals and when they got banned for not enough white in them, David Letterman had the best joke ever about them.
Why are they banned? There's no white really in the NBA.

I loved and wore 3s. 11s are beautiful, but they felt like moon boots to me.

I really don't "get" basketball shoes. They all look so clunky to me. I guess I just can't pull them off idk.

I'm really bad about this......lol. Like I enjoy collecting them more than I do wearing them.
I probably won't wear them but 5-6 times a year
That's really bad for the 11's or 6's with the icy soles because they'll eventually yellow out.

I have some infrared Red III's as well. They're extremely comfortable, but I have no clue how anyone could have played bball in them

It isn't about "do I like them now". For me they represent my childhood when everyone on the Junior High basketball team got together and said, "We're going to wear Jordans this year." And we (or our parents) all purchased Jordans including the poorer kids. Playing ball wasn't just about being talented at basketball...it was about looking good on the court. 1990 was a great time to be a kid.
I mean, Jordans were so cool that inner city kids were killing other kids to steal their Jordans. I remember we took a class trip to Six Flags in St. Louis. Our school was warned to not wear Jordans to Six Flags.
The Air Jordans 5 simply remind me of my childhood. I'd like to purchase a pair (even used) just for display purposes.
80 years from now it'll all make sense. Those things will be worth a ton of money 80 years from now.
