Little Big Men- Little league baseball. Seriously.

That was a great one...we hadn't beaten Taiwan in forever.

It was the miracle on ice at a LL level.

It was huge at the time...if you were alive.

We hadn't won our own game since 1970 (when we weren't trying to fix it)

Kirkland did it in 1982 - 12 years w/o a title for US when we presumed (especially back then, that it was our game.)

Not since 1970, the year Cody was born, had Taiwan been beaten. A team from Lakewood, N.J. did win the Series in '75, but that year the Little League got small-minded and barred foreign teams because of xenophobia—it was afraid Taiwan might never lose—although the LL claims the foreigners were taking tournament play too seriously. Indeed, last week the Taiwanese were trying for their 11th championship in 13 years.

On Sunday, a noisy crowd greeted the boys at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, again to cheers of " U.S.A.! U.S.A.!" Then they were whisked away to Kirkland where 40,000 people—all the people of Kirkland (pop. 18,779), it seemed, and their brothers—saluted their champs with a parade.

Not sure if it was an official 30 for 30, but the one about the beginning of fantasy baseball was awful. Hated everyone involved by the end. Could have been interesting but the style of it was annoying.

I liked "Broke". Pony excess was entertaining.

Da U was testosterone heaven. Amazing how Bosworth got his arse kicked after talking shite to the Thugs.

Roll Tide/War Eagle was by far the worst

my expectations for that weren't that high.

I had a feeling they were going to focus a decent portion of the program on Finebaum's radio show.

what a waste.

Lol.

but I thought that wasn't a 30 for 30?

now the ones like Benji or Marcus Dupree... SMU... the Two Escobars... those were the actual 30 for 30s.

maybe not who the hell knows.

The Maurice Claret one by far.

Also I was surprised at what a bitter person Jalen Rose is from the Fab 5 one.

I'm not sure which is the worst, but Roll Tide/War Eagle, There's No Place Like Home, and Marion Jones: Press Pause, all sucked.

I didn't mind the Rene Richards story. I was in my teens in the 1970s and that was big cultural story; I had forgotten about it and it was interested to see and think about 40 years hence.

Maurice Clarett. I hated how close the camera was to the person's face during the interview especially the mom who I couldn't stand.
