Whatever floats your boat Nancy.

Financially, Tech is in a much better financial situation than ulm. Maybe they should strive to build some Golden Arches, (or golden arcs, for you "Coming to America" fans) for your next stadium project.

I think "The Waffle House" can be the nick name of your stadium. But let's not let sh/tposting get in the way of a great idea.

Refine it before you hit the next open mic.

Go ahead and list the accomplishments, then.

Other than the stadium pics that the Tech guys have published, their Wikipedia page if true is quite impressive.

73 players drafted
5 First Round Picks
3 Players Drafted each of the past two seasons
19 Players on Current NFL Rosters
3 NFL Hof (2 in the last decade to be inducted)
25 Conference Championships
4 National Award Winners
**Looking at these comparatively to other schools those numbers are in the MS State, Arkansas, Kansas St, OK State, Arizona, Southern Miss ballpark. Not LSU, Miami, Alabama, but that next tier.

I honestly didn't think their numbers were quite on that level. I knew they had begun to export a lot of kids into the NFL, but I had not realized the rate at which they were doing it or the company they were keeping.

In regards to the pics the Techsters keep sharing, I can't wait to make the trip up in October. It's been impressive watching the campus morph from what I saw as a young boy/man to what it has become since we renewed our rivalry and y'all moved to CUSA. It's not the Rock and never will be, but the improvements are morphing the stadium into what feels like a more "big-time" environment with every trip I make up that way.

Just out of curiosity what will the next venture be? With the end zones and press box side done have y'all done anything to the visitors side? I'd hope so since that's the side we see when we walk over from the parking lots.

I'm not sure what is on the books. Fans would like the east side (visitors) have upgraded bathrooms and concessions. That may be in the works already and it is badly needed. Rumors of a practice facility have not reached critical mass yet. Included in the press box project is new stadium lighting, I believe LED. Fans have been clamoring for the North end zone to link both sides of the stadium, something like Virginia has (not seating, but something to class it up). I have heard they want to tie in the DAC with the stadium, giving it better site lines.

If we get the concessions, restrooms, and North end zone done, (along with linking the stadium with the DAC, it looks off right now) it will be a first-rate G5 stadium. We already have the major projects completed and need to work on the smaller details.

I went to both, graduated from La Tech and I have so much more fondness for La Tech.

I got my undergrad from NLU. Back in that day, NLU was the shite. We were coming off the NC in football and there was a sense of pride. Then Lawson took over as President and the school went to crap. I blame him for the downward spiral and it sucks because that school used to be neck and neck with LA Tech and honestly, I would much prefer to go to school in early 90's Monroe than Ruston.

My son goes to Tech in Aviation. I told him that if he even remotely thinks of switching to ULM, he is cut off.

I have no idea what they even fly in, cropdusters? Tech's Aviation program is one of the best in the nation for price/value. At first I was a little apprehensive on him going to Tech because of the whole NLU/Tech rivalry thing with me from years past, but after checking out the school, there is really not much better of place in LA to go to school (and yes I am including LSU in that mix).

25 Conference Championships
This is the only accomplishment you listed, and you have to be vague because these are nothing conferences we're talking about.

Terry's Super Bowls don't play for Tech.

I see you had to sneak in a jab overnight while not even addressing Tech's major stadium upgrades.

I can't wait to see ulm's press box renderings. /s

Addressed long ago. Tech is n-rich and is confused that nobody gives a shite about their knock-off boob job.

Seriously, what is it with you people and the topic of facilities? We're talking about football, not toys.

ULM's aviation program was shut down about 4 or 5 years ago. Northwestern's was shut down at the same time. At the time, NSU had 3 planes, ULM had none and rented one or two out of a local school.

NSU's planes and ULM's King Air simulator are now owned by Tech, but Tech recently closed the deal on a replacement fleet (12-15 I believe)
