He is a free agent after this season and made $9 million this season. What kind of offers do you think he fields this winter? 5-$75m?

Well Chris Davis doesn't really do anything other than strikeout or hit home runs and he got 7/161 last year. Trumbo will only be 31. He'll get every bit of $120+ million.

Trumbo had a career year, and he definitely made himself some money, but he is still an aging slugger with a career OBP of .303. Plus he is an absolute butcher in the field. I don’t think he sniffs 100 million even with the weak free agent class and exploding prices.

Here is a fun fact that will make people who hate WAR red in the face:

Kevin Pillar (.264/.294/.389....7 HRs) has been worth a full win more than Trumbo on the year according to fWAR.

One of the best defenders in baseball versus one of the worst.

The horrible corner outfield defense is one of the big reasons why the Orioles pitching has been so bad this year. I've lost count on how many time Trumbo turned a single into a double by not being able to cut off a ball.

Hard to imagine a team with a bigger difference between infield and outfield defense. Makes Britton and his 80% groundball rate a great fit for that team.
