You, sir, are both a gentleman and a scholar.

It's gotta be the Buckeyes

Fair.
Just saying if Bama beats Auburn but loses to UGA their best wins would comparable to Wisconsin's.
Osu = auburn
Michigan = miss state
Northwestern = lsu
Iowa = tamu
And Bama would have a loss.
And wisconsin would have a conference championship.

I also still believe we're going to get a 1 or 2 loss Wisconsin anyway.
If you continue to predict the same thing over and over it may eventually happen, but that doesn't mean you knew what you were talking about. If UW goes 13-0 they're in, just like we've been saying from the beginning. Every year there will be enough stuff going on that an unbeaten P5 champ is a lock.

I agree with the last part, that things usually fall in line and all the what ifs go away, but is it really absurd to think Wisky loses a game or two?

Given how things have been playing out, nothing would surprise me. I thought Iowa was going to really push us yesterday given how they trucked OSU, and I thought ND was going to whip Miami.

I watched pretty much the entire Wisconsin/Iowa game. I was thoroughly impressed with that defense. I'm not sure Wisconsin can score with Ohio State, but they may not need too.
I really don't know what happened to Iowa. That offense was incredible against OSU last week, but couldn't do a damn thing yesterday.

Wisconsin’s defense has bailed-out Alex Hornibrook time-and-time again this season. They’ll keep Wisconsin in just about every game, but...
The OL is mean as hell in the run game and have a very talented true freshman running behind them. Unfortunately, Hornibrook is good for one, or two, backbreaking turnovers each game. It’s like clockwork. Doesn’t help that Jazz Peavy and Quintez Cephus are out, but even they probably don’t remedy Hornibrook from making a boneheaded decision with his weak arm.

Not really anything to do with the CFP, and I don't want to start a new thread, but there are some disappointed people in Madison this week.
ESPN College Gameday announces that they will be in town for Michigan/Wisconsin this Saturday. As we all know, Gameday ends at 11:00am (CST).
Michigan/Wisconsin is scheduled to be on FOX. Most expected the afternoon time slot at 2:30 or 3:00pm. Instead, FOX pegs Maryland/Michigan State in the afternoon and puts Wisconsin at 11:00am!
What an absolute shite show. When Gameday ends, the game in Madison will kick-off, almost, simultaneously.
Student section will be late-arriving, per usual, and the Gameday set is going to be looking pretty bare by 10:00am.

I don't think this has happened before.... stupid move by both ESPN and Fox....

I imagine Fox is trying to build on the lead-in of sorts that GameDay creates. It's not ideal for those at the game, but for viewers, it might be a smart call.
