You may be right, but General Will Wade would WIN it all if he had Cole Anthony this year!!! Healthy of course!!

I really thought Keatts was going to get State to the top of the ACC. Maybe it's still to early to tell. Recruiting looks pretty good this year with Hall & Hayes.

@BilJ I’m not sure, tbh I’ve been pretty disconnected last couple years from the pulse of Nc State news

But yea I’ll give it another year but it’s still pretty disappointing so far. It’s annoying to see some of the scrub quality players we have getting minutes and essentially losing games for us. This Dixon kid is just terrible

LSU is 75:1 to win it all. Not the worst bet either.

UNC with Cole Anthony lost to Ohio St by 25.

No rational UNC fan thinks this team is talented enough to go on the streak needed to make the dance. NIT if they’re lucky.

It's going to take a minor miracle for UNC to make the NCAA tourney this season. The ACC schedule is really back loaded for UNC. We tanked (without Cole and others) during the EASY part of the schedule. Can't see us beating the likes of @ FSU @ Louisville and @ Duke in the coming weeks.

Next year is going to be much better. 4 McDonald's AAs + Cam Johnson's younger brother are coming. It also looks like Bacot will (i.e. should) return next season.

My Theory is Roy Williams dabbling in one and done players. He coaches best with upperclassmen team. Last year he got 2 one and dones and another this year instead of his traditional multi year talent. This has left him with inexperienced players in his complicated fast break style.

To be fair, Coby White was not expected to be a one and done player. That absence is a large part of the issues with this year’s team.

But then Cole Anthony wouldn’t have come to UNC. Roy struck out a bunch 2-3 years ago, and this is the year that the chickens came home to roost.

Next year’s class is very good but they will have some redundancy in their most loaded positions. Kessler, Sharpe, Bacot, and Brooks might be 4 of their top 5 guys, yet you can only really play two of them at once.

Maybe, but I’d rather have year 2 with White than year 1 with Anthony, especially now that Anthony has basically been a non-factor.

Cole committed to UNC expecting Coby to return for his 2nd season. Cole was going to be the pg and Coby the 2g.

Coby played point out of necessity. He was always a score first 2. And yes. Was expected back.

His NBA struggles this year highlight his unpolished games. But when you’re projected top 10, you bounce.

I agree that Coby is the better option due to health. And he may actually just be the better player overall too, although Cole was asked to do a lot more this year.

Coby White declared April 3. Cole committed to UNC on April 23.
