What happened to that little girl hit by the line drive foul at Minute Maid? Every sports outlet was all over it but now, the only thing they say is that we need more nets, etc.

Nobody has reported on her condition. It looked awful. Any of you Houston baws have any info?

Haven’t heard, hope it isn’t serious.

I would never sit a kid that close to the 3rd base line?

You do understand that the family is allowed to ask for privacy, right?

Of course they are, just like someone else is allowed to ask if she’s ok bro

He’s not asking for their hospital room number or address

I asked how she was doing because I was obviously buttering you up to ask for her blood type, social security number and DNA profile.

Clearly that was my ulterior motive here.

The tone of his post is definitely knocking the media that they reported how the kid was hit, but now all they're doing is saying we need more nets.

I could maybe follow you if he hadn’t included

I've sat there with my nephews at Rays games...it's a rare thing but you as the adult are responsible for paying attention when someone is at the plate to protect them in the off chance a foul ball comes at them.

As of Thursday, maybe Friday, I think she was still in the hospital for observation

I was sitting about 20 rows up from the family. After it happened two girls, assuming sisters, came running up the stairs crying. 10 seconds later the dad with the little girl in his arms went sprinting up. Kid was motionless. Extremely scary moment and glad she’s doing alright.

A few innings later the player that hit the ball was talking to one of the lady security guard that helped, I guess trying to get an update. That was a very emotional scene as well.

I can’t even imagine that feeling as a father. Talk about going from having a good time/day to south real quick. Glad to hear the news is promising.
