Chris Mortensen mentioned that yesterday. He said Moss and Culpepper are still friends.

Culpepper has retired, which i dont see that lasting very long. How about Jake Plummer also?? I know he is retire but he took the Broncos to the playoffs for a couple years.

Bring him back to Oaklnd, that clown they have now is a joke and waste of a draft pick. He will never lead them anywhere.

Culpepper does not want to sign the vetern minium. Believes he is still a starter, has turned away many teams and owners with his rants about being blackballed after last year.

He is an immobile QB with cannon arm, so is Byron Leftwhich who is still available. He does not play smart does not have same skill set as in past. He holds on to the ball too long and behind that pats line that wont be a good thing.

in general, when i see this phrase, i assumed that whatever the "that" references is immediately not true based on Mort's involvement

I do understand this but I bet none of those teams were in the Super Bowl the year before plus Moss as a common denominator.

Bobby, some of those teams were Pitt, Eagles, Chicago, Lions, Packers

Pitt and Packers offered him contract at about 2 million a year and he refused.
