He still has his job.
What would have happened if he was a quarterback and he kneed the anthem?

ETA: Del Rio’s comments were inappropriate. Kerr’s and Popovich’s comments are all appropriate.
Right according to who? Who decides right and wrong on societal issues?

He probably would be fine. Plenty of players have taken a knee during the anthem and have a job
Kap doesnt have a job and hasnt had a job because he doesnt want one. He wants to be martyr. he has turned down offers and ducked offers. He wants people to think he is blackballed

Kept his job like many of the worthy players that already have done that

JDR shouldn’t have apologized for what he said, he did nothing wrong, if they fired him for not apologizing, he could go Gruden on them and sue them for it all. Never apologize to woke mob.

Plenty of players "Kneed" for the anthem and they all have their jobs, IF they are good enough.
Sorry your hero Kap sucked, but he's a muli-millionaire with his Nike line of apparel. Only in racist America is this possible.

Was he a good QB? Or was he a QB that was going to lose his job in the off season no matter what his off the field previous performance was?

Why should I give a shite what either one of them, or you, know what it is?
If they are two more players that get paid to play a game and yell about oppression, then I really don't give a shite what they think. They are as ignorant as you and others who want to cancel people for simply having a different opinion.
It is always funny to me how those who scream "oppression" have the ability to cancel who they please.

The quarterback of the #31 offense was the victim of collusion and was rewarded a multi-million-dollar settlement for it.
The coordinator of the #25 defense apologized.
If you’re ok with the treatment of Kaepernick, you don’t get to be offended at anything that happens to Del Rio.

This is a pretty subjective issue you are making a very conclusive statement on.
I didn't hear what Pop said (nor do I care to), but I did hear what Kerr said as for some reason one of the sports podcasts I listen to snuck it in on me. I really did not have an issue with the emotion - as to the genuineness of it, I don't know Kerr well enough to judge - but when he went full politics on it that's where he crossed the line for me. In his opinion "doing something about it" meant only one thing, passing restrictive gun legislation. There are A LOT of folks, probably as many as not that believe there are several things that can be done about it before gun legislation that would be really "doing something about it". And I agree. Ke
Conversely, I got zero issue with what Del Rio said, and I'm not a Trump fan boy by any stretch of the imagination.

“Why do athletes and coaches think we care about what they have to say about politics?!”
Oh wait nvm we don’t apply that logic here for reasons

Mate serious question: do you not see that your far left policies have clearly made NOLA less safe these last 2 years? SF just threw out their similar DA bc of these insane policies leading to the same issues we see in NOLA now.
