Have you checked McGahee's status? Is he going to be playing or not? If he's going to play, you may have to go with him because Felix got zippo last week for the 'Boys. But if McGahee's out, don't worry about starting Jones. With the Bengals coming to town, everyone suited up should have a chance to score this week.

Would you trade Brees for

QB Garrard
RB Ronnie Brown
WR Andre Johnson

I need some help at RB and WR. Hate lose a stud like Brees but.....
I think Johnson will end up having a good year despite his numbers now. Brown is just now getting healthy and is the man. Garrard O-line finally getting healthy.

Okay here is my situation

I am picking up Jason Campbell off waivers and dropping runningback Kenny Watson and I already have two other quarterbacks on roster, Eli Manning and Aaron Rodgers.

Should I try to trade Rodgers and see what I can get for him? What do you think his trade value will be? Also it should be noted I have Greg Jennings on my team.

Depends on how desperate you are, but I don't think Garrard will get close to Brees no matter what his o-line does. Also, Brown may have had a stud week 3, but that doesn't mean that Ricky won't steal carries from him in the future. Johnson is a stud for sure, but Houston has sucked so far and there's no guarantee there. This trade scares me.

The good news on this proposed trade is that Eli has had his bye and will likely be available for the rest of the season. That way, you'll only need Campbell if Eli goes down. On the other hand, with Rodgers gimpy right now, his trade value is probably lower today than at any other point in the year. The fact that you have Jennings doesn't impact the decision much in my opinion. There are teams in most leagues desperate for QBs. You ought to be able to get a stud WR for Rodgers or maybe a pretty good RB from a team who has RBs stockpiled for trade value. If not, hang onto Rodgers until he proves he's healthy. When that happens, sit back and enjoy the offers, which should be plentiful.

Should I start:

Dwayne Bowe against the Panthers

or

Santonio Holmes against the Jaguars

Bowe has nine more catches than Holmes on the year, Pittsburgh is slumping right now, and I'd fear the Jags D more than the Panthers. I had high hopes for Holmes this year, but he's failed to live up to expectations, and I've seen no decline in Hines Ward's game.

Yeah, last night made me question it more. I figured Pitt will not be able to run much since parker is out. The Jags pass defense gives up like 220 compared to 177 from the panthers. I will probably go with bowe, but it could go either way

This is not a significant difference in the big scheme of things. Bowe is the number one target at WR in KC. Plus, he's a good WR and the (non-TE) competition is thin. Holmes is the #2 target and Nate Washington creeps in and takes catches you would think would go to Holmes. I know you've got a big question mark at QB in KC and that Gonzalez might as well be a WR. But if your league awards points for yards or for receptions, Bowe is the big leader in both categories.

A trade that was proposed to me:
I get Philip Rivers, Steve Slaton, and Anthony Fasano (TE Miami).

I give up DMAC, Kellen Winslow, and Brett Favre

Without the QBs in the deal I probably would do it, do you think that Philip Rivers for Brett Favre is a good deal? FWIW my other QB is Peyton.

If you have Peyton, you shouldn't need Rivers. Peyton has had his bye and barring injury should play the rest of the year. Unless it's been more than rust that's been holding him back, he should return to last year's form in no time. I like Winslow over Fasano. I like McFadden, but he's injured and the Raiders have the veteran Fargas and Bush to steal carries. Slaton is the only thing Houston has in the ground game and he's the solidified starter for the foreseeable future. By the way, I have a Favre bias and would not want him on my team. He may have thrown six TDs last week, but I predict he'll have a six-interception week before it's over. Bottom line, you're getting less at TE, and maybe a little more at RB, the QB trade doesn't affect you unless Peyton continues to suffer from the rust-bug.

so should I try and get a WR from him for Favre instead of Rivers? Say like Brandon Marshall or Larry Fitzgerald.

I am trying to figure out what kind of idiot would give up Rivers for Favre? If the crack this guy is smoking wears off, no way will he go for such a trade. If he does, you can take Rivers for Peyton insurance, keep Winslow and try to get a stud like Marshall or Fitzgerald. Wish that dude was in my league.

Who is the better tandem? Hasselback and R. Brown or Rodgers and Slaton? Forgive me, my first year in FF.

well i did the Rivers for Favre and Slaton for DMac trade and got to keep Winslow. Now I need to find a WR cause he wouldn't part with any of his.

Due to bye week constraints I am left with the following options for 3RB and 3WR:

Mewelde Moore vs. Michael Pittman

Koren Robinson vs. Devery Henderson

Which one's should I go with?
