Suggestions for better names...
Know the "RIGHT" Stats.
Too many times you hear, "I had an awful putting round. I had 36 putts, it was terrible." Or.."I drove it horribly. I missed every fairway." "I only hit 3 greens in reg." Well almost always they have no idea how many greens they should have hit nor do they know the average distance to the hole on each approach. They definitely do not know the average distance of their approach shots.
First lets address the putts...
You probably are not a pro and you are probably not playing on pristine condition greens. Do not use the AIM putting stats on the PGA Tour as what you should do.
A PGA Tour player will make a 30-35 footer 7% of the time. An amateur should make it 5%. Why would I use 30-35 feet? Thats what the 100th ranked PGA Tour average distance from the pin is. There are 4 stats which you should keep to help with your putting.
1) Average distance from the hole at 100-125 yards. (20 feet is a good goal to have)
2) Average distance from the hole at 125-150 yards. (25-30 feet is a good goal)
3) Average distance from the hole at 75-100 yards.
(15 feet is a good goal)
4) Average distance from the hole inside of 10 yards.
(5 feet is a good goal)
Knowing your stats from these 4 things will help you understand what you need to work on. Put down the Woods, Long Irons and practice getting better on these areas.
Working on 3-5 foot putts should be a focus as well. That is where most of your putts will come from.
Next lets address driving...
Learn your average distance on each approach. Every shot you hit that you can reach the green record it. See what your average yards into the green is. This will help you know exactly what clubs to focus on as well as knowing if the tees you are playing are right for you.
Thanks to strokes gained putting, the Tour has released strokes gained driving. They have learned that it is not about accuracy anymore. Specially at your normal muni course where there is rarely any rough. It is about hitting it long and having a shorter iron into the green. The tour average of feet from the pin at 125-150 is 5 feet less than 150-175. That can be up to 4-5% greater chance of making the putt. Learn to hit it far before learning to hit it straight.
So stop with the GIR, Fairways hit, and putts per round stats and focus on the above. This will shave shots off your game guaranteed.

There was a free buffet with green fee.
You can't blame them.

Lotta grass growing in that bunker.

Was it you? It wasn't a horrible layout, just needed lots of TLC. That was 3 tee IIRC. 2 green was worse. I think I hit it in reg and 5 putted

I know you aren't new here. That's basically the mantra of this board. Of course there is Thibby who can't hit it past 220 but nobody pays any attention to him anyway

What magazine or golf site did you get that from?

No, I had to hit around that bigass tree on the lake and put my shot in that right green side bunker. Ended up w/ par

Those only occur SOI10 unless you dangle DNA's in front of BeaverPro NOI10

That is my director of teaching and myself who came up with that. Although a small sample size all of our students have gotten better by it.
The tour data is from pgatour.com.

I agree with the stats but that is good advise for someone starting the game to get longer, me? I could give two fricks about hitting it far
