I've had 1 double eagle. Driver, 4 hybrid at Calvert #7. Two hops and 3rd landed in hole. Only people with me were the twins and they were 5 at the time. "Daddy that was cool. You should do that everytime."

I was watching rhe European tour on golf channel and the announcer said albatross, not double eagle.

Absolutely. Thats where the term originated. But you wont hear it in American golf very often. Still, nice observation

Nice courses. Spain and Dubai have some nice courses. I like watching it. I found out about Rory, Schwartzel, and a few others because of this tour.

Double eagle is still commonly used golf terminology
