thanks man. I'm finally learning this. I've been so infatuated with distance for so long I've neglected the basic truth of being sharp inside 120.
I hit the ball good enough from outside that range but I'm too erratic with wedges in my hand.
our director of golf is a freaking short game guru and he is a really young guy. I've seen him really help several of my buddies

if you will believe it I hit a 5 iron about 250 yesterday out of the rough

Last time I played I hit a driver from the tip just short of the trap on the right. Had a 9i into the green.

lulz...i knew I hit it good and drove out to about 130 yards out expecting to find my ball and couldn't see a ball in the zip code. my buddy says "your'e shite is up by the front of the green"...I couldn't believe it.

Eagle! frick yeah. Ryno bomb from tips. 3w to 3 feet from 240 out. Drain the putt in front of my buddy and a group of 6 that let us play through.
