89 in the drizzle/rain.

I chunked a 6i into the short hazard on 15. Drop and hit short. Duff a chip 6 inches. Next one goes straight in the hole on the fly for a double. Never seen anything like that.

Pull my drive left on 16 which has a long carry over water to the green. Try a hero shot around a tree and splash a 5i. Drop up at the edge of water about 80 yards out. Take a smooth 58 opened a bit. One hop, two hop, down the shoot for a par.

I use the interlock cause that is what jack used and I am the closest human alive to eclipsing his major record.

Baseball grip is good too. Scott Piercy and Jhonnthan Vegas use it. So does Tommy Gainey

Shot 77 with a double on 18.

Hit two drives into hazards but I hit them really well. Just not for that hole. Hit some good shots and shots I wish I had back but good round. Very good Rhythm all day

Nice round.

I'm striking the ball great right now. Just some bad course management. Letting my swing get sloppy at the end of the round as well.

I don't feel like going back and replying to the actual posts but apparently there are a few guys posting in here around Lafayette. I've never played le triomphe and would love to if you need a partner. And I've played in a scramble at oakborne once and always wanted to play it again. Just an FYI

I am a member at Le Triomphe. I have tournaments the next couple of weeks but after that let me know and i will bring you.

Well I'm on call this weekend, got a tournament next weekend, on call the next weekend, then will be in Dallas the next weekend for LSU-tcu. And on call the weekend after that. We can figure something out eventually I hope. I've been wanting to play there for about 3 years and it always falls through when I think I'm gonna finally get to

New TaylorMade irons are in. Hybrid 3 4-P. Replaces my callaway x14s 3-P that I had since 2001. I broke 80 with those irons....made many birdies, a good number of eagles and was dialed in from 150 - 120.

As I have gotten older, I need something to give me more pop to keep up with the young guns when playing the tips.

Technology has changed but I bet the lofts are stronger on my new Taylor Made irons. rocketbladez. I got the same golf pride grips I had on my callaways.

I got fitted - that makes a difference....I have 2 degree upright with Kbs 90 shafts. The clubs look more like a players club at address butt sole is much thicker.

The Taylor Made rep said these clubs were a little bit longer than my callaways....they are barely longer.

They are good on the range - high, soft, long - I can hook the shite out of them if needed and push a fade when needed. They will lose their course virginity tomorrow. Will update with pics.

For your reading time I reward you with:
