Well I get special deals since I buy so much stuff from him. My entire bag came from the same guy. Shafts, irons, putters, grips balls.

I was just giving you a hard time. Not a bad hook-up to have.
I'm getting my old shaft pulled from my F11 and installed in the BB Alpha tip. Guy at the pro shop was worried it might not work, but not sure why. Tip is clean. Should be able to just pull the shaft and epoxy it in the tip, right?

Unless he has no clue what he is doing it should be fine.

Unless the shaft is the .350 and tip is .335. Lol. Then it wouldn't fit. Actually you wouldn't want the other way either because shimming a tip like that is not good. But as long as the size is the same and he doesn't take too much off the shaft when he cleans it, it will be ok.

I think he originally thought a shaft had broken off in the BB Alpha head and he was gonna have to try and get out the broken piece of the shaft.
I waited on him after my round and went in and made sure he got what I was saying. I think he's got it now. Just had me worried. Should be done Wednesday in time for to hit it before big tournament.

They are both .335 I believe. So I should be fine.

I got an email from Carter Saturday.
ALL DAY-MONDAY, JULY 28TH
FOR GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE
We are doing some work on our watering system and fringes.
Greens will not be Aerified again until the end of August.
We have missed the rain and carts are 90 degrees. The golf course is in perfect condition.
We will be open for business as usual on Tuesday the 29th.

No club manufacture uses .350 except ping. It's because they are dumb. All their exotic shafts are shimmed.

Cool, that must have been the maintenance work then. It was in pretty good shape Saturday. I had a typical round, was +1 on 15 holes.. Then threw in two trips and a double due to wayward tee shots.

I knew .335 was pretty standard but looked it up to make sure.
I think I'll like the shaft combo. It will feel familiar and I know I can hit the shaft.

Some tp tips were .350. But that was 2012-2013. Not sure the new ones.
Or the opposite. Lol I don't remember. I think tp was smaller.

First timer myself. I'm not a member out there but may consider if I like it. I will know tomorrow if we need another person or not. Will let you know.

A bunch of made for shafts are .350 but no real aftermarket shafts are .350

That's cause they cost too much to make 2 different sizes. All you need is a shim.

It's a badass course, I think they are running membership specials right now.
The guy I played with has been a member for 2 years.
He has a young professional membership (35 & under)
$4K initiation fee (can spread out payment over 4 years)
$240 per month plus cart fees
