It's because of all the dumbass lies you get at Atchafalaya. Case in point, last time we played I ha an uphill lie. 108 to the flag. Pured an 8 iron, came up 20 yards short. That's not taking into account the length or thick arse Bermuda that those guys probably had

A billion. Shot 82 with a 4 putt and 3 three putts. Also missed two 4 footers for birdie tat did not even touch the hole. I almost threw my bag in the pond on 18 I was so disgusted.

Their greens are always good, about the only track I've played between BR and the Texas line that was worth a stop for besides Koasati Pines, Oakburne is cool too.
