I wish the undergrads would help me weed my putting green.

The damn zoysia sod we planted with was hammered with annual nutsedge.

what kind of weed in my yard/beds kind of looks like a long vine, with a red stem and little roundish green leaves that come off both sides of the stem...similar to a centipede i guess (not the grass, the bug)

It's pretty easy to pull up at least. Not a big root system.

Getting some on my green too.

frick all that, I roundup the flower bed! Wife wanted flower beds and said she would keep it up. That never happened so I just spray it with roundup and have bare dirt. Gonna stick some hedges in there and be done with it. I hate flowerbeds.

I can't stand April and May at MSU. Masters Week ruins the course.

But hey, grow the game.

LSU is the closest thing we have to a british style golf course too

not many trees at all on the course (at least mature ones)

MSU used to be pretty treeless, I've heard.

Forestry department has planted a shite ton of trees out there. When those things grow in all the way, the course will play a lot tighter and tougher. Really tough.

Still forestry here.

I told my brother to check it out, but grad school ain't for him (barely for me).

Almost every fairway has been planted with pines along the side. When I come back and play down the road, it's gonna be tough.
