Fairways in reg. is a beauty pageant stat...GIR is really the only stat relevant to amateur golfers

Of the 8 Fairways I missed, 4 of them prevented me from hitting the GIR (2 in hazard, 2 in trees).
Of the 6 Fairways I did hit, 4 of them I had PW or less in and missed the green each time. Got up and down once.

I was being serious. I'll hit 75% of fairways but only hit 2 or 3 greens then shoot in the 90's

Agreed. Hit more greens and you will gain tons of strokes against your score.

When I hit 9-11 GIR I'm in the 70's...when its 4-8 I'm in the 80's...like clockwork.

Absolutely. Unless you are having huge problems off the tee the majority of practice should be with wedge through 8i
