I've chopped off the hitch at the top of the swing and picked up club head speed.

Not kidding. It feels so much better. That and driving through the impact and feeling like my left big toe is nailed to the ground. Best advice threeputt ever gave me.

In my vids from my lesson the other day, my left foot would leave the ground when I nitro'd the driver. A quick setup change fixed it, by just flaring out my left foot a few degrees. Apparently I don't have a lot of flexibility in that left hip, so I unconsciously leave the ground so I don't break my leg from all the nitro.

So don't know if that would help you too, to help keep that left foot planted. (Or maybe you already do that)

That's funny , that's exactly what Rob told me... He said when he worked with him, that they tried to get him to stay planted and even tried to hold it down but in the end just went with it.

I had some instruction from a super elite nerd that showed me how to drive thru impact and hit down on the ball instead of my usual cut that was losing all kinds of distance.

My ball flight changed a lot. It helped that I turned my right hand over the grip, and shortened the back swing. I also square my shoulders up to the ball as opposed to having them flaring open like I'm gonna hit that cut.

I guess the coolest thing about Joap and the nerd helping me fix all that is, now I've got two swings: the pipe down the line and the power cut for holes moving left to right.

Still no draw.

Everyone usually posts screenshots from their lesson to verify.

You think I'm the kind of nerd that does what everybody does?

I can teach you that. It's easy.

Have more Nitro power than anyone knows what to do with first.

I feel ya. I can't hit a fricking cut to save my life. A straight ball for me is a cut.

I made the mistake of moving away from a big draw and now I cut everything. trhe only good thing is once I re-learn how to hit a draw I'll still be able to cut a shot when I need to where I couldn't before. I prefer my stock shot to be a draw though with the irons.

No baw

Your stock shot is gonna be a pipe down the middle. Ask Joap. My drive looks like a projectile now. If I'm off, it's only 10 yards in either direction after 3hundo. I love it.

I feel like I've got a new lease on life.
