Got the putting yips bad. I do not feel good standing over the ball at all. Started my day with a 4 putt double from 20-25 ft.

If it weren't for this particular deer I've been hunting I would've played a few rounds by now, but no dice. This has been one of the worst Nov-Dec weather stints I've seen in a while as far as hunting is concerned. So. Much. Rain.

Anyway, I've been out of it for a while and I'm devising a routine to get my body back in proper form. I hate taking such long layoffs over the winter. Sucks having to waste time getting back proper mechanics. I'm gonna start with the grip and go from there.

I'm putting better than ever after changing my posture.

1. arse out.
2. bend at Waist (arms freely hang)
3. straight back/straight through

Any of you lurking/posting in this thread get the 2015 Golf Pool email this morning? With 350 entrants last year, I figure I'm probably not the only TDer that does this.

Entry fee is up to $310 this year. Yikes!

What's that all about?
I only get emails from La Tour.

It's just a big golf pickem league.. I don't even know the guy who runs it. We pick one guy each week from the Pebble Beach pro-am to the Deutsche (sp?) Bank championship Labor Day weekend.

Just figure with so many entrants that I'm probably not the only one here who plays.

same here. nothing but mud out there. should dry up a little bit over the next few days of sunshine but very cold temps so will still be muddy. My favorite is chipping off the mud. crisp and clean every time.

hard to play my patented 70 yard bump and run shot when its that kind of track. They don't make a sandwich for that.

what do you boys do when you really want to get under your opponents skin during a match? I have always gone with the Ric Flair swagger strut and it never fails to rustle the jimmies.

The only person I know that gets mad is Tibbothy.

I like to urinate the letters D-F-L on the windshield of his truck when the round's over.

Usually just make a comment about not having had any hard putts when playing at LaTour.
