Have you seen the ball markers with the alignment aids?


You read your putt with the marker in place, and then when you replace your ball, you line it up with the appropriate line on the marker

It's a little easier than trying to line up with the hole on a longer putt

The line on the ball is still needed, it's just the process is aided by these markers


Like I said, I don't do it

I place my ball down with as little logo showing as possible
