Y'all ever played Carter Plantation? Played it for the first time back in March and again a few weeks ago. I don't play many nice courses, but I thought it was pretty good for the price.

I've played it a dozen or so times.

Nice course, but holds waaaaay too much water for too long after a storm.

That sucks. I can't remember if it had rained recently before I went, but I do remember there being a few saturated spots that seemed odd.

I think Friday might be a wash.

Have you seen the band heading across the state?

I'll play Sunday, it's going to be wet tomorrow. Hope Threeputt has nice weather playing in Myrtle Beach today through Sunday.

Ahh, greasy grips.

I saw a caddy take a bottle of water last year at the Zurich and dump it all over the grip of the club that had been pulled. Then he started scrubbing it with a wet towel, then a dry one.

I've been doing that for the last year or so, and it has been keeping my grips tacky and in good shape.

Every now and then I clean mine with Windex. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it at least restores some tackiness.

Run them under the sink with warm water running, then wipe them with a clean, dry towel.

It gets the dirt out of the grooves in the grip, makes them feel new again.

Dirt makes them feel slick.

Yeah, and it's about time to clean my grips now that I think about it. My driver and 3W grips are slick. Windex just cuts grease like nobody's bidness.
