Who do I start at flex for a PPR league?

Donnie Avery V SF
or Isaac Bruce V STL

1 point per reception, 1 point for every 10 yards, 3 point bonus for going over 100 yards

Who do you go with for a RB/WR slot:

Michael Jenkins v. Broncos
Kevin Smith v. Panthers
Lee Evans v. Cleveland
Devery Henderson v. Chiefs

Do you have enough depth to give up Brown? If so, I'd jump on this ASAP. Boldin is golden and your other WRs aren't.

I agree with this response. Scaife is the #1 WR in Tennessee. Especially in a PPR league, he would be a better asset than Sheffler. Also, after last week's game, I expect more teams to try to stop the Tennessee running game. Success on that front could only be good for Scaife.

Don't get me wrong. I like Sheffler I lot. But he has been injured part of the year, and there are a bunch of other weapons in Denver. But, with no running game, a TE is the next best thing. On top of that, you've got to figure that Denver is going to score more points than the Titans. That's just a given.

These are things to ponder, but I still like Scaife.

Gonna pick up a RB or 2 off of waivers tonight, who should I go after?

Benson
Cadillac
Pittman
Bell
Hillis
Benjarvis

I'm leaning towards Cadillac (I have Graham- who's hurting) and BGE (I have Morris- who's hurt) but I'm tossing around Benson too. Then again, I may just pick up 1 and Mark Bradley. I really like how Thigpen is playing and he seems to be targeting Bradley alot.

This is quite a motly crew, although I have to admit that several of these guys are on teams in my league and even a few are starting.

Let's start with Benson. Guy's had only one good week and that game can best be described as a Jaguars' brain fart. But look at what Benson's facing in the next few weeks: PHI, PIT, BAL, IND, WAS. If your fantasy bowl is week 14 (@ IND) and you really need a body, you might consider Benson. Otherwise, no.

I wouldn't consider Cadillac to play on my fantasy team until he's gained at least a yard. You can't depend on pure speculation when roster spots are a commodity. Besides that, he's barely back from a serious injury. Graham and Dunn are both questionable this week, but I doubt TB will rely heavily on Williams. If Graham and Dunn get healthy, I look for a rotating committee approach in TB that will hurt the numbers for all three guys. You can draft Williams next year, so I'd let someone else take the chance this time around.

Pittman. I'm thinking Jackson will be back in Week 11. Even if he's not, I wouldn't consider adding a Ram to my roster an improvement, no matter who it was.

Bell/Hillis. Hillis isn't the answer. Just look at his measly production last week. Bell may be the long term answer, so if you have room, you might consider stashing him for insurance down the road. If you need a starter this week, look elsewhere.

Lawfirm-BJGE is the guy I like the best for this week if you're looking for a one-week start. My only caution is that he might not get as many carries if Sammy comes back this week. I hear Morris was seen at practice. You'll have to get more info. on this issue or look at another option if you're worried about it.

There are a lot of issues to consider with these mediocre RBs. Good luck.

I am pretty set with Turner and MJD. I had Mewelde but I released him because I thought FWP was back fully

but as soon as this idiot offers me the trade, I am taking it. Might pick up Hillis, Bell, Rhodes or someone of that nature

Anyway, picking up Rhodes might be worthwhile. Addai just doesn't seem to be ready for sixty minutes of football. Bell may also turn out to be a good pick up. (See my post above.) I think any serious scoring for Hillis will be a fluke (except maybe this week).

Wrlakers, good thoughts. It sounds like you have them ranked about like I thought.

1. BGE
2. Bell
3. Benson/Cadillac
4. Hillis/Pittman

I'm not very deep at RB and Graham normally starts for me. I dont' see how he couldn't play this week, since he finished the game with the injury and had 2 weeks to heal up.

I was hoping Morris would be a quality backup on my bench but now it looks like he and Cadillac will both be splitting carries down the stretch- which sucks. I'm not as concerned with the short term as I am with the playoffs though. Our playoffs are in week 15 and 16.

Denver has Carolina then Buffalo in those two weeks. TB has San Diego in week 16, which sounds better, if you can make it that far. I think you may need to pray for Graham's health. Maybe pick up Cadillac as insurance if you've got room for two guys.

Good luck with Rice. It's hard to tell what Baltimore is going to do. McGahee did great last week, so you can assume they probably won't even play him this week.

Without looking at the matchups, I would go with the receivers.

yeah thats what I was thinking. Bryant has been doing well, and my other 2 RB are Peterson and Turner, and my other 2 receivers are Colston and Braylon Edwards. If I win this week I go into the playoffs as #2 in my division at worst and possibly #1, but if I lose I could be out

I agree with Mr. Moses that the WRs look better than Rice, who faces the Giants this week. Bruce is playing the Rams (which should get him sufficiently fired up) and Bryant has Minnesota. Who knows whether we'll ever see Rice again. Don't chance it.
