so, has anyone ever had a team go undefeated in one of your money leagues? i can't remember ever seeing it happen, and ive been playing for about 10 years.. i think i have a pretty serious chance if romo comes back firing..my team is 9-0, and over 100 points clear of the 2nd highest scoring team..i play 3 duds and one good team the rest of the way..i may pull it off..what do you think?

QB- Romo/orton/bulger
RB- Gore/T.Jones/M.Turner/Fargas
WR-A.Johnson/S.Smith(car)/B.Edwards/V.Jackson
TE- O. Daniels
D - Bal./Minn.

I'm screwed at RB this week. I'm debating whether to start Torain or to drop McClain/pick up Jamaal Charles and start him instead.

I'm trying to figure out what to do.
I'm going to probabley drop schaub. Who would you get to replace him? Quinn, rosenfelds, culpepper, flaco, thigpen, hills?

I need to have my bid in by 9pm.
Thanks

Keep Schaub. If you need a starter, pick up Rosenfels for the near future. Only a person who was trying to undermine his team would start Culpepper or Shaun Hill this week. I like Flacco and Thigpen, so I won't malign them here, but do you really think your fantasy team or either of their teams are going to win a championship with them at the helm?

On the other hand, Schaub has put up some pretty decent numbers with the exception of the Tennessee game, his illness absense, and last week, the game in which he got injured. They say he'll be out 2-4 weeks, but they said that about Orton, and now Orton wants to play THIS WEEK. Anyone who drops Schaub is not thinking long term. Don't do it.

Edit P.S.: Your post did not indicate who you have on your bench. From the looks of the best available QBs, everyone in your league must have a bench. What other QB do you have already?

Green-Ellis vs BUF (Morris is likely out again)

or

Ryan Torrain vs CLE

it's yardage heavy league.

Need to pick one of these 2, b/c Stephen Jackson looks like he will be a big vagina again.

I just saw the reports and noticed that Samkon Gado is slated to fill in for SJ. Ha! I remember Samkon coming out of no where and playing for Green Bay. I'm thinking that's not likely to happen again.

I hate to advise anyone to play Torain since he has proved nothing in the NFL. But I am well aware of Denver's plight at the RB position. Bet they're wishing they had that dope-smoking, serial sperm donor Travis Henry this week. They don't and someone has to run the ball. I don't know about Selvin Young's status, but surely they'll give Ryan the ball.

As for "Lawfirm," as the Pats are now calling BenJarvis Green-Ellis, I didn't expect him to put up the numbers he has over the last three weeks, but look who they've played. Thomas Jones had only 69 yards against Buffalo last week. He also had a TD and 38 yards receiving, but BJGE doesn't appear to be the pass-catching type of back seeing as he only had one catch last week.

I see this as close, but give the nod to Torain because he's got way more upside than BJGE. (By the way, I also checked the cbssportsline guru-who I personally detest-and his projections for these two players were within one point of each other. You may as well flip a coin.

I am going to assume that naivety drove you to the Schaub decision and not crack or some other mind-altering substance. Edwards may not be setting the league on fire, but he's better than everyone else on your list except maybe Rosenfels. Flacco may be capable of putting up better numbers, but he's capable of playing an entire game and scoring only 3-4 fantasy points, too. Is he the guy you trust to lead your team?

If it were me, I'd keep Schaub and play Edwards. If I had room on my bench, I'd pick up Sage just in case he cures himself of his recent fumblitis and turns into this year's Derek Anderson. That's what I would do.

We can only have 2 QB's. So I guess ill play edwards, and just see how rosenfells plays this week. I just did not want to make some rash decision. My QB play this year has just been horrible. I drafted D.A and Jake D. so i've been losing games only because of QB play. Plus I just got so pissed because for the second time I played the same guy my QB got knocked out the game. Edwards first then schaub.

Thanks for the advice.

So, with schaub down for a month I'm kind of screwed. I still have T. Edwards, but should I pick up S. Rosenfelds, quinn, or culpepper? Or should I just keep schaub and start edwards?
XXX, sorry to jump on you in the prior post. I hadn't seen this post until now. Either way, you've got your answer. Good luck.

If there are only 12 teams in your league, then there should be a couple of other possibilities out there? I assuming no one (including you) wants Seneca Wallace, Jamarcus Russell, or Drew Carter (I just refuse to believe the Lions will start Culpepper after only a couple of days at practice). Are Garcia, Cassell, Collins, etc. all gone?

that's my hunch. BGE will prob be a safe 50-60 yard guy with little receiving and MAYBE a TD. Torrain could be boom or bust, but i like his matchup a little better.

nice breakdown of two by the way.

Torrain

Faulk will vulture carries/receptions from Green-Ellis. Meanwhile there is no one to steal carries from Torrain.

Anyone think I should pick up Torain or Larry Johnson to help my running back depth?

Other questions if you are really bored + got a free minute:

Who would you drop on my roster for one of those two RB's (if you think it is clear that I need some help at RB)?

Last question, any thoughts on my current players as far as active vs. bench->as I am sure is the case for majority of folks, this Week 10 is crucial to pull out a W or playoffs may be out of reach. Thanks in advance for any feedback
