Nevada has made this a game for 41 more minutes than I ever thought they would.

I’m not a big conference rah-rah guy. It made sense in the BCS era. It doesn’t now because every power conference is guaranteed a bid, and the conferences are nonsensical.
That said, playing road G5 games definitely seems more common in the ACC than any other power conference. Missouri and Vanderbilt are the only SEC teams I can think of that do it pretty often.
