Way too early CFB playoff picture - Week 3

With FSU losing their QB, Clemson seems to be on easy street after beating Auburn. Louisville may give them a game and so may Miami, but it looks like Clemson may walk into the playoffs.......again.
OU thumped tOSU on the road and Mayfield Heisman odds rose. Being that the Big 12 is a less than stellar conference from top to bottom, OU has an easier path with a huge resume' win. TCU and the Pokes are the only teams that may challenge them, but they have lost to Texas when Texas seems to be a dumpster fire.
USC looked a little shaky week one, but handled Stanford pretty easily on Saturday. Maybe Western Michigan is still pretty good. The PAC 12 is considered the deepest conference mainly because all of the 2nd tier teams are right there together with no real separation. Basically, right now you have USC and Washington(legitimacy still pending) and the other 10. USC should win the conference and should only drop 1 game. Crazy. Remember when the were ready to fire the HC week three of last season?
The B1G took it on the chin in OOC this past weekend. tOSU losing at home, Nebraska losing to the Ducks and NW getting raped by Duke. PSU pounded Pitt for a little revenge and Michigan looked meh against Cincy through 3 quarters. Basically, the B1G is setting it self up for cannibalization. I can see the conference champ having two losses and they won't be represented in the playoffs.

I really like Oklahoma State. They get TCU and Oklahoma at home and have looked good thus far

Clemson and OU look to be locks at this point. It's CFB, so anything can happen on any weekend, but barring some shenanigans those 2 look to be in.
Last 2 spots are likely SEC and PAC champs. At this point I'd say that's Alabama/LSU and USC/Washington.
I could see USC/Washington dropping some games since both have looked shaky at times. If that happens, Penn St could sneak in from the B1G if they win the conference with only 1 loss.

Oklahoma still has TCU and Oklahoma State (who I really like this year).

OU just needs to go 1-1 against Ok state.
Eta: unless Ohio state completely collapses

As long as that one is the conference championship game

Were liable to not show up and get beat by a frickin 1-4 Texas team.
Gotta stay motivated or we're not going to the playoffs

The path for Clemson and OU is there but this is college football very rarely is it as easy as it seems.
Hell last year Clemson had that fluke game against NCSU where they should have lost. I think their QB will have a bad game or two.

heres my prediction...
SEC winner is in (one loss or less)
Big12 winner is in only if undefeated
ACC winner is in (one loss or less)
Pac 12 winner is in (one loss or less)
big 10 winner only in if undefeated.
agreed, plus the big 10 playoff representative has been shutout in the last 2 playoffs, so that can't help their chances when vying against another conference for the 4th seed.
