Washington State finally gets their Gameday

SIAP did a search and didn't see anything. LINK pretty cool story. Pretty much everyone is aware of the WSU flag waving behind the Gameday set each week for years now campaigning to bring the show to Pullman. Not sure exactly how long this has been going on, but glad to see ESPN finally make it happen.

It’s the 15 year anniversary of the flags debut. I don’t watch game day all that often anymore, but I’m 100% tuning into this one just as a college football fan.

have you seen the slate of games during the upcoming saturday? the only other options are:
1) miss st @ LSU - won't go there b/c ESPN will probably be in Baton rouge when bama comes to town two weeks later
2) NCST @ Clemson - if this were at NCST, it may have been a contender. but since it's in death valley, it might be a blowout
3) UM @ Mich St - they just went to ann arbor (edit: I know the game is in East Lansing. what I mean is, they wanna avoid a repeat team two weeks in a row, if possible)

If Washington State didn't have the flag campaign then they wouldn't have gameday.
Sparty v Mich and NCST v Clemson are better matchups.
I get Gameday going for ratings, that is what they are about. Just feels cheap.
