I used to punched WRs in the throat when they'd stalk block me and I'd chop down on their elbows too. The game is too damn violence to say "you can get someone hurt doing that." what are the gonna outlaw next? Tackling below the waist?

You can get someone hurt by simply playin the game.

Why don't they do away with all rules so you could just shoot people when the try to block you?

Why? Because some rules make the game better, like the one that makes it unsportsmanlike conduct for you to cheapshot someone in their throat because you can't get off their block.

The pathetic part is you think posting that makes you sound cool. Keep striving for the approval of people on the internet, you awesome motherfricker, you!

You didn't hear Manning complaining

heres what eli said:

"That was a first," Manning said. "Obviously I think it is a little bit of a cheap shot. Going down, we are taking a knee, in a friendly way. They are firing off, and it's a way to get someone hurt."

heres what the giants lineman said:

It's just something you don't see at this level," Snee said. "I've played in a lot of NFL games and really never been around that. It's just one of those things where you have respect for the opposing team.""When I get a helmet off my knee at the end of the game I'm not going to be happy," Snee said. "It's a shame that this is what we have to talk about, two teams who fought their tails off. It was a great game. Maybe that was acceptable in college, it's not acceptable."

"It's nothing I've ever seen," Locklear said. "I think it's a dirty play. When we're all telling them we're going down, they're not gonna get the ball. They're not gonna get the snap, we're not gonna fumble the ball. But it's a play that they did."

Dude, on Mike and Mike this morning, Antonio Pierce said they did that at the end of a game when he played for the Giants. You play to win the game. Coughlin is being a hypocritical bitch.

ETA: You're butthurt about Schiano leaving Rutgers.

Of course it was.

I really don't get all the bitching Tampa was only down by a touchdown; of course they want to force a fumble. Blame your o-line for sleeping on the play.
The game was over, take your loss like a man.
This shows the huge divide between being a professional and a coach from a dreadful college program.
GS came off as a little bitch and will never be respected by anyone in the league, for the 3 or so years he'll be in it.
He ends up back in college a failure.

This whole thing reminds me of Spurrier playin his starters the whole first preseason game when he was the Redskins coach. It's just another college coach with a "play 60 minutes" mentality that doesn't understand that what he's doing isn't how it's done in the pros and makes him look bush league.

So you don't like Schiano, makes you even more bias in this regard. Also, why would not want the only coach in the modern CFB era to have any amount of success at all at Rutgers?

lets see, he peaked out in 06 and hasnt done anything since. yes, im grateful for how he built rutgers up to be decent. the dude was also a huge dick and control freak. i have a family friend who works in the football office, everybody hated him. think nick saban without any of the championships. my friend stopped travelling with the team years ago, because he was tired of the bullshite. he would get phone calls at 2 in the morning in may about getting more money for the football program, just dumb micro managing stuff, that could obviously wait until the morning. the list goes on and on.
