Surely this sort of thing could be viewed as illegal in some way right? Certainly should be.

At the very least Wake should sue his arse.

Is it normal to give out the game plan to the radio crew?

I would assume the color guy would have info regarding injuries and plays that were worked on that week. That way he can reference it during the broadcast. i.e. for a fake FG or something they saw in the opposing defense.

I could never see any coach doing that. Especially to your alma mater.

Per Tom Jurich; Elrod sent information to Louisville's OC, who shared it with the defensive coaches. But, they didn't run any of the plays and the staff already knew all the other stuff, so there's nothing wrong with what they did. Also, the media should be ashamed for bothering the team during bowl prep.

Louisville should have to forfeit that game. It's the same as accepting stolen property. They're guilty

That explains how a P5 bowl team could be in a dogfight with Tulane for 4 quarters

Nah. Tulane had a legit defense this year and it's not like Wake has any overly impressive wins on their resume. Wake's other 5 wins are 4-8 Duke, 4-7 Delaware, 6-6 Indiana, 4-8 Syracuse, and 2-10 Virginia. They also lost to Army.

Wake would have been a borderline bowl team in the AAC East and likely misses out if they were in the AAC West.

Who was he before we hired him?

He had great success here his first tenure and there are no NCAA violations under his watch wherever he has been. What's the problem?
