Possibly the most transparent rile up the base/distract from the failures of their administration yet from Trump/Pence. Too bad this is an instance where the short national attention span will work against them. The only people riled up by this would've been just as easily riled up if Pence had tweeted something about Hilary's emails or the gay agenda or whatever. Just look at the reaction this week compared to three weeks ago.

This was so embarrassing and sad. Trump even said he told him to do it. It is almost like this whole thing is about an insecure man who has had a vendetta against the NFL for more than 30 years and not about his love for America at all.
