Libtards melting over this

I don't have an issue with Pence disapproval of the protests and boycotting the NFL.

My issue is twofold
1- I don't see why we should waste VPs time/tax money to pull this off when press release/speech does it

2- At minimum do it at a Redskins / Ravens game where it doesn't cost money or time to fly VP out and arrange secret service/lodging

I didn't like when Obama did BS publicity stunts either. President/VP shouldn't need to resort to that

I'd walk out too if I had to sit and watch a 3 hour game between the colts and the 49ers

He was already called a racist based upon the fact that he is a white man, so I don't see how this will make a difference.

Why is this board so much more in line with these players doing shite like this than the other boards on here?

Why is the average poster on here so out of touch compared to rest of the nation?

Why do you guys have sympathy for these rich, 1% players?
Furthermore, why does it make you upset when someone exercises his right and just walks out?

This board is nothing but a bunch of BLM loving losers who have totally been corrupted by imbeciles like jemelle hill and the rest of the ESPN retards.

I think both sides, including yourself, are self aggrandizing attention whores, whose main goal is to be louder than the other guy. This anthem stuff has become a dick measuring contest and both sides probably don't give a frick anymore about all this, but don't wanna pull back, because they wanna "win".

Check out this Politard talking about people being out of touch.

Your Poli board safe space is representative of nothing other than a group of people decades behind socially.

If anybody was wondering where they can read more awesome threads like this or get the latest insights from HHTM then head on over to the Poliboard!

You call it completely batshit insane; we call it Sunday.

So either Pence was amazingly and stupidly unaware that the protests would happen, or he wasted his and every one else's time by showing up just so he could walk out.

Not sure which one is worse, TBH.

So his feeling were so hurt that he had to leave the game? Wow what a strong leader.

Wait do you think the Poli board represents the "rest of the nation"?

Pence is a politician. I'm not sure what the big deal is. The whole anthem protest is stupid, but people can do whatever they want.

Well, in fairness the President has now tweeted that he "asked" the VP to leave if there was kneeling.

None of this has anything to do with thin skin or hurt feelings. It's about politicizing the event as much as possible in order to gain approval points. It also deflects from things that actually matter in Washington and the world.

I think they may have gone back to this well once too often, especially since this was obviously planned but there are a lot of stupid people out there.

Not only that, but it's not exactly cheap for a VP to go to a football game from a security perspective. Thats hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars that were spent for him to make a "statement," as though we didn't already know his stance.

I doubt it. There are a lot of people out there in middle America that are never going to be anything but hostile toward the idea of kneeling/demonstrating during the national anthem.
